Revdex.com:
I have never made a complaint on here beforeIt is very rare for me to complain at all about anythingI am not sure how this all worksHowever, has Heyman talent received my additional complaint about them not charging everyone for a web profile fee? I don't understand why not everyone is being charged this feeI now feel like I was just looked as a dollarsI was accepted along with about ten other peopleI feel like we were just looked at as dollarsThey stated they would give me a refund, but I ended up wanting dollars backI wanted to make sure that that was the final agreementDollar amounts were not discussed in the most recent email sent from Heyman TalentBecause I want to be done with this, I will accept their offer of a dollar refund and act as though I was never affiliated with the company if they do the same for me.However, NOT everything was addressed to meI also have no reason to believe that the last email was written by anyone but *** ***I told her I did not want to speak with her, but I wanted to speak with her managerShe never let that happenI've never experienced being declined to speak with a manager nor have I ever worked anywhere that didn't let a customer speak with the managerIt's very sketchy to me. I think *** should know that I know that she's attempting to deceive me on this whole matterShe did call me yesterday and I listened to her voicemailShe said she has been trying to get a hold of meShe asked me to be professional about thisI find that interesting because after I asked to speak with her manager, on November 17th, *** called meShe left a voicemailI couldn't call her back immediatelyThree and a half hours went by and she sent me an email using a smiley face in a place that lead me to believe that her email was passive aggressive and then terminated my contract with Heyman TalentShe clearly wanted to sweep this under the rug and felt that she could treat me anyway she'd likeI emailed her back asking to speak with her manager still and never got a responseSix days went by and I made my complaint with Revdex.comI want her to understand that she was unprofessional about this whole ordeal and she never made an attempt to contact me or have the manager contact me (which is what I wanted) after she canceled my contractI don't know why *** was trying to convince me that she has been professionalI'm the one she's been dealing withShe doesn't need to lie to meShe was polite at the beginning, but she also wasn't trying to make me feel better about the matterShe wanted to just end it after the first emailWhich is why I continued to ask questions. Also, it was never explained to me why my agency would not tell me my pictures were not of good quality to help me get more jobsI mentioned that a couple of times and that has been ignored every timeHeyman can tell me that they are a reputable company all they want, but that doesn't make it trueI now understand that there are different types of agenciesThe saying is true, never go with an agency that charges you for anything at allI'm not saying that they don't take care of all of their talent, but I do think they only take care of some of their talentI think it's very upsetting that Heyman didn't know me until now. I just want to make it clear that I understand email can get lostI can believe one, but I will not believe bothMy emails sent were personal emails, not emails sent to a bunch of talent seeking who is availableI fully believe that at least one of my emails was simply ignoredEspecially after everything that happened with *** ignoring me. The whole response from heyman sent to Revdex.com was very generic and not addressed towards meI don't know why all the emails back and forth about being submitted for certain age groups was so genericI think if I was taken more seriously, then I would have begun to be submitted for younger rolesEveryone is different and uniqueHeyman states that it hand picks talent for clientsNot once did *** say that she really thinks that I specifically look like I should be submitted for older rolesShe kept it generic and generalizedShe never stated what age group she thinks I could/may fall underThat was also unsettling for meI was expected to accept everything she saidThe whole matter could have probably been settled had she had just given me some advice or her opinion on how to better my photos/what age group she really thinks I fall underI just really think they take on more talent than they can handle.I don't understand why my complaint never reached higher managementBut I do hope that everyone has learned from thisI know that I haveI don't want anyone to get into any trouble, but I do want things to be realized and seenI don't want other talent in the future to be treated in such a wayTalent and agents should be partners working together on a common goalI didn't feel that or get itI'm ready to move on and pretend I was never affiliated and I hope Heyman will do the sameI'm not really sure how this works, but if the complaint can be removed then that is fineI am fine with the complaint being removed if I do get a year dollar refund from HeymanThank you for everyone's timeTake care.*** ***

Heyman Talent
***,There is a very specific protocol that all the agents go
through when submitting talent for jobs.
The agents will cheat ages up or down depending on the specs; this gives
the clients a broader selection to choose from and gives the talent the opportunity
to get in front of the camera and auditionAfter all, clients rarely know what
they want until they see it
The agents are very careful to submit talent that fit the
specs provided to them, Heyman agents would never waste a talent or a client’s
time sending auditions that are outside their descriptionThat said, there are
times when a client is looking for something extra specific, the agents may
blast out the details to all of the talent to see what we have in our database
that would be a good fitIf the talent can’t help us then they simply ignore
or delete the mass emails
As for the web gallery fee, we have a very extensive
websiteMaking sure each and every talent has a well-maintained profile is the
most efficient way for the agents to present the talent. We can assure that this is a typical fee and
most certainly not a scam. We also use
the website to provide talent with audition opportunitiesIt keeps a very
detailed account of who is submitted for which projects and which talent attends
the auditions. There is no “computer generated selection” for
auditions. All talent are hand selected
by the agents for the audition projects
Unfortunately, Heyman agents do not have the ability to
decide who gets cast on shoots. We do as
much as we can to send talent all of the proper details so that everyone has a
shot at booking the jobThe ONLY way we can guarantee that you WON’T get
booked is to never show up for auditions.
It’s a simple premise; if you don’t audition you will not book jobs
Everyone knows technology is never 100% accurate, there has
been several times that our site or emails have failed usWe certainly
apologize if we did not respond to an email in a timely manner or worse if we
didn’t respond at all. The agents sift
through several hundred emails every day and there are times when client and
talent emails are lost in cyber space or sent to Spam folders. Obviously we continuously try to rectify this
problem, but sometimes this one is out of our control.
The Agents at Heyman work diligently to find great jobs for
our talent that will help them hone in on their skills and guide them at any
levelWe rate our success on the success of the TalentWe have prided
ourselves on being a top-notch agency where the talent can feel confident and
comfortable with their agents. We
apologize that our agreement has to come to an end, but we will certainly refund
you your gallery fee

Complaint ID-[redacted]My name is [redacted]. I filed a complaint against Heyman Talent last week. I wanted to add on to that complaint. I wasn't sure the best way to go about that. I have been discussing my problem with other people who are also in the field or may be affiliated with Heyman...

Talent. I have just learned that not everyone that Heyman Talent accepts as talent has to pay the 100 dollar "web fee". I was told that everyone has to pay this fee every year to have a web profile with photos and resume. However, I was just informed this week that apparently they choose to not charge some people but they still get a web profile for free. I feel this is discrimination and I now want a 200 dollar refund for the two years that I paid for my profile online with Heyman. I feel this is unfair and wrong. Thank you. [redacted]
