It was after much thought, consideration and ample time for the business owner to resolve the issue that I am filing this complaint
I recently used Grunts Move Junk based in StAlbans, VT for a move from Fairfax, VT to South Burlington, VT and have had a horrible experience that both the owner, *** ***, and the COO, *** *** refuse to address, have failed to demonstrate any accountability and have actually reneged on a verbal commitment to refund a portion of the costs and to pay for damage and losses
The original estimate vs actual estimate was 81.6% higher in cost despite being a shorter distance:
Original Estimate, $1,161.85, hours, miles (Fairfax, VT to East Middlebury, VT)
Actual $2,110.35, hours, miles (Fairfax, VT to South Burlington, VT)
Difference$over (that is 81.6% more than the estimate), hours more (that is 50% more than the estimate and the actual move was miles shorter

Stephen and HGB Construction have been responsive, reliable and very reasonable for cost. I have used their services both at my home, and at my business, and all of their work has been performed with a high degree of quality. I will definitely refer their services, and will use them again in the future.
