After my husband passed away all I did was work. Between moving to a new city and trying to find safe places to even go to the grocery store, I became a very anxious person. I joined this club to meet a few friends who were not bar flies. Less than two years later I am engaged to a man who has helped me tremendously in terms of letting go and learning to be positive. I have some wonderful friends who I can call for ANYthing and I have only Your Social Life to thank for giving me the opportunity to be grateful for the life I once had and the life I have now. If you asked me a year ago if I would be kayaking and salsa dancing within a week, my response would be a flat no. Today, I am a completely different person and I have a life outside of my profession, which is one that does not lend itself to mingling with coworkers (I am the boss.)
Positive. Two thumbs up. Happy camper. All that jazz!!
My experience with Your Social Life has been positive overall. I was very hesitant at first because many dating networks promise the world and can't deliver. However, when I found out they meet and screen everyone in order to really get to know their members, my mind was put at ease. I have attended many events I likely would not have attended if it weren't for this group or the friends I made here giving me a push . The people are all normal and fun and some activities are low key like a bike tour but others are really crazy and unique like a Limo Taco Party. So far so good! Would recommend (in fact I did recommend and one of my childhood friends just joined in Boston!)
