I spent a lot of time researching a Samsung TV I wanted to purchase for a Christmas giftSo on "Black Friday" I placed an order for the Samsung TV HH Gregg had advertised on their websiteI purchased the item on Black Friday and requested shipping to my homeI was pleased to purchased this TV at a slightly better price than the other advertised Black Friday Specials at other vendorsTo my amazement I receive an email five days later stating item is not in stockIt took five days to realize the item was unable to be fulfilled? Seriously? I understand the items can be out of stock, but in this technological age this company should be able to monitor their retail merchandise much more accurately and timely than thisAnd to make matters worse, all the sale prices for this Samsung TV over the Black Friday weekend have now passedWhy it took five days to notify me? In HH Gregg's defense they did offer me a choice of other comparable brands, but if I would have wanted those I would have ordered them in the first place? I wanted the Samsung TV they SOLD me on Black Friday, the Samsung that I am no longer able to purchase because of HH Gregg's mistake and apathyMost companies would make this mistake right and offer another Samsung of that sizeNot HH GreggThey basically told me take one of the "off brands" they were offering or take a refundThey had no desire to resolve the problem they caused, nor offered any explanation on a five day window between the order and the notification of "out of stock"I was very disappointed in HH Gregg and think this type of business practice is unacceptableThey advertise customer satisfaction, but their action speaks volumes

I have a couple things to report hereFirst experience this holiday shopping season Website was horribleTook over an hour to get my order for a dishwasher to even go through after I had decided and when it did I wasn't sure if it went throughThat order was next day delivery and that was the only part of my experience that went fine However two days later my daughter mentioned that she tried to purchase a TV online and got charged times for the same product and they shut down her cardSo we went into the storeThere were only other customers in the storeWe had to chase down a repGot very rude service from herWent to check out and my card got declinedShe immediately asked if I had another cardI did, so I used thatOn the way home I got a message from the Chase card I tried to use first that unusual activity prevented a purchaseSo I can only assume that the issue my daughter had flagged the credit card companies and caused the rejectionManaged to purchase the TVWas told very rudely not to damage the box if we wanted to return it because they won't accept it otherwiseThe rep brought it to the curb and just walked away I should have learned from all this but then purchased another TV on Cyber Monday for myself on 12/Today is 12/and I still have no word on deliveryI tried calling twice last weekOnce on hold for minutes and never got throughOnce was told all lines were busyNow tried again and got the same thing so I tried using the contact form on the website and that crashedAnd I can't get into my online account because it says invalid email, even though it is the same one they sent the receipt to and a million spam emails Still no idea whether on when I might get my TVEverything about these three experiences has confirmed for me that I will never use HH Greg againThe couple savings is definitely not worth it

Website was horrible. Took over an hour to get my order for a dishwasher to even go through after I had decided and when it did I wasn't sure if it went through. That order was next day delivery and that was the only part of my experience that went fine.
However two days later my daughter mentioned that she tried to purchase a TV online and got charged 10 times for the same product and they shut down her card. So we went into the store. There were only 2 other customers in the store. We had to chase down a rep. Got very rude service from her. Went to check out and my card got declined. She immediately asked if I had another card. I did, so I used that. On the way home I got a message from the Chase card I tried to use first that unusual activity prevented a purchase. So I can only assume that the issue my daughter had flagged the credit card companies and caused the rejection. Managed to purchase the TV. Was told very rudely not to damage the box if we wanted to return it because they won't accept it otherwise. The rep brought it to the curb and just walked away.
I should have learned from all this but then purchased another TV on Cyber Monday for myself on 12/1. Today is 12/12 and I still have no word on delivery. I tried calling twice last week. Once on hold for 30 minutes and never got through. Once was told all lines were busy. Now tried again and got the same thing so I tried using the contact form on the website and that crashed. And I can't get into my online account because it says invalid email, even though it is the same one they sent the receipt to and a million spam emails.
Still no idea whether on when I might get my TV. Everything about these three experiences has confirmed for me that I will never use HH Greg again. The couple savings is definitely not worth it.
