H&H Homes

You might not like having to live among constant construction activities while living in your new home but the reality of buying here is that for the forseeable future you will not be able to enjoy much peace or quiet in these developments. By their own admission, this will go on for the next 6 months to a year, and even outside the established subdivisions there will be generated noise, dust and congestion from new homes being built. While very ambitious and laudable for the community being developed in what is a very rural setting, think Levittown in NY or PA...cookie cutter homes thrown up in a few months (by the hundreds)-and living among this is miserable.

Bought a home in Shaftsbury Green and the crews who are putting homes up here work all day, every day. music blaring, trucks blocking the road, trash and debris everywhere. We have been awoken at 5 AM and hear compressors and nail guns after 10 PM often. Complaints to H&H sometimes bring tempory relief, but then it starts again and you have to make phone calls to get it to stop. The workers rarely speak any English, and frankly I don't think speaking with them is the proper proceedure-the bosses at H&H throw these things up (buy one, you'll see) and while you occupy your home, it is virtually impossible to enjoy your home with these disruptions, Steer clear, trust me this is a really poorly run operation overall.

We are so happy with Kellie and Joe with H & H homes. The keep us updated every week with calls and pics. We live 8 hours away so this is very helpful to be kept informed and updated weekly. We visit once a month and when we ask for something to be fixed or changed our request is completed within a week or two. I highly recommend H & H Homes. They have helped us from walking the lots in the bitter cold of January to the weekly calls. The time line Joe gave us in the beginning is exact. We can't wait to move in our beautiful new home. A very bad company to buy a home from. Anything with H & H on it, steer clear of it. I already bought and I'm wishing I did my research. We wanted things fixed before we moved in, didn't happen. We have an appointment to get things fixed and the funny thing is, the person we talked to, stumbled in in the middle of the conversation when we said whoever comes to fix the things that were supposed to be fixed better have a license. I'm military and I'm saddened by such poor service!!
