I brought my jet boat in for work. It had tons of high performance parts on an exposed motor and jet drive and these [removed] left it out at night and it got stripped clean by morning. These [removed] never made it right. He only offered me discounts on used parts. [removed] this shop. Don't take anything to these [removed].

Review: In the summer of 2013, [redacted] at Hi Tech Marine installed a new boot on the outdrive of my boat. He worked for two hours and I paid him $500 for the work. 7 months later, I inspected the boot (the boat had not yet used), and I saw that the boot was all torn and ripped up. I called [redacted], and he was not helpful. He referred me to the parts supplier, saying that it was the part and it should be warrantied. I tried to call him to resolve the situation numerous times, but he never called me back. I got a new mechanic at Pacific Marine, Alan, and explained the situation to him. I told him that [redacted] had installed the boot by stretching it over the outdrive. Alan told me that was an improper way to install the boot, which would void the warranty of the part and labor. The boot is supposed to last years, not months. The outdrive needs to be removed and then reinstalled after the boot is put on. I had to spend another $600 at Pacific Marine to have the boot properly installed. I trusted Hi Tech Marine, and if I had taken my boat into the water, it would have sunk with the way he had installed the boot.Desired Settlement: I think that I am entitled to a refund of $600 to cover the new and proper installation.
