Company washed my house but left a soapy residue all over the outside vinyl siding and windows.Hi-Tech Mobile Wash of Worcester contracted to wash my vinyl sided house. After the company completed the work on Monday June 6, 2014, I returned home from work the same day and noticed a soapy residue or stain all over the outside of my house and windows. When I complained to the owner, he came over the next day with a co-worker and claimed it was not a soapy residue. He told me it was my vinyl siding. I also pointed out the residue was on my windows. I asked the owner if he used a rinsing agent to rinse the soap off and he said no, he only used water. Desired SettlementRinse the soap residue off the outside of my house.Business Response I responded to the consumer complaint by going out to the house the very next day. The customer was home, and after inspection, most of the problem had disappeared. We did little hand work with a rag, the customer said he was satisfied, he paid me and we left. Have not heard anything until I got this Revdex.com message. I will contact customer to resolve issue.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The business owner came back and said there was nothing he could do about the problem. I did pay him as it did appear the problem was not as severe in the late afternoon, but the next morning I noticed the problem was still severe. I do not want my money returned but I do want the business to complete the work as there is still soap stains in several areas of the siding.Final Business Response We went to customers house on [redacted], 2014 and brushed the siding and rinsed the house. the problem is not likely soap residue, but a water quality issue. Minerals in the water maybe left on siding and windows after drying quickly on hot days and due to the color of siding shows as white streaks on siding and messes up windows. No customer response yet.
