Review: I took my Honda Rancher in for a small leak issue on 11/4/14. I was informed that work would be started in 2 weeks, requested that findings and cost be reported prior to service. 2 weeks later was called with problem issue, repairs required and total cost of repair, informed it would be ready in 1 week. Called them on 12/12 and asked for update, stated that they were having problems getting in parts because they are "rare and hard to find". Called again on 12/16 and was informed that the order did not get placed. I told them to stop all service with the exception of putting the four wheeler back together. I was questioned as to whether or not I really wanted it put back together and was informed that it would run once this occurred. When I picked it up on 12/23, I was charged 2 hours of labor, 1 hour of correcting the disrepair, fuel (tank was 1/2 full upon arrival), carb cleaner, oil and spark plug change. None of these needs were brought to my attention. I pointed these flaws out to the head of the service department. He asked how he could make things right and I shared that he should drop all costs except for 1 hour of labor. He stated that this was my problem as I was ceasing service and they could still order parts neededDesired Settlement: Refund of $114.17 due to the breach of agreement and unauthorized work. Willing to pay for initial 1 hour of labor for take-down to assess issue but feel that they did not follow through and I should not have to pay for labor on a project that had no follow through. I would also like to make public aware of the questionable service that they provide.
