Hiatt Alarm and Sound

Review: Hiatt A&S was paid in full to install 16 cameras and surveillance system. 2 defective cameras have not been replaced as promised after nearly a year.

Hiatt Alarm and Sound was hired anc contracted to install 16 new cameras and supporting equipment to use for surveilling the pool area, clubhouse, office and other nearby and ajoining areas. After the job was completed and installed, it was determined by both ourselves, [redacted] and Hiatt Alarm and Sound that two of the cameras were deffective and needed to be replaced. [redacted] removed one camera that covered the front lawn and mail box areas where we have had several thefts and instances of vandalism since the camera was taken. One of the cameras that covers the pool area was mutually determined to be defective, but was left in place though not working well with the promise a new one would be replaced there as well. Despite numerous emails, phone messages and letters and unreturned calls we have not received our replacement cameras. Once I did manage to speak directly to [redacted] who stated he recalled seeing two cameras on his inventory shelves but could not remember until my call what they were for. He said he would have his partner, [redacted] come by in the next day or two and install them, and that he was sorry we had slipped through th cracks. We feel that we have been patient long enough, sufferred enough, and that we should not be ignored so completely considering the amount of efforet we have put forth to receive hwat we paid for.Desired Settlement: We are requesting that the cameras be replaced with properly working new ones, install them and adjust them properly, or that the supplier, Hiatt Alarm and Sound reimburse us what another contractor will charge us to finish Hiatt Alarm and Sound's initial job with us.

Failing that we would like to have our entire outlay returned to us since we were never given a fully functioning system from the beginning, yet he was paid for it.

The issues have been satisfactorily resolved and new cameras have been installed. We have even been offered new cameras to replace others at the cost of the camera and no labor charge.

Please remove the complaint if that is possible under your policy or close the matter if it is not according to your policy to dismiss the complaint.
