The employee explained to [redacted] that the price was this high because it would be the $11.99 price, including theprice of soda, the taxes, as well as the tip fee for the waitress (15%). He was also told that we prefer the bill to be paid on 1 bill because it makes it less confusing and easier for everybody.[redacted] agreed with the price given to him on May 27, 2017, which in turn, is why he put a $50.00 deposit down to hold the space for June 10,2017. A Hibachi menu was given to [redacted], along  with the total price for adults and kids, hand written on it, so that there would be no miscommunication. On June 10, 2017, the first people from [redacted]'s party had came in around 3:15 PM‘. They were seated directly; since they had reserved the space. Around 4:20 PM, the bill had been rung up for [redacted], which totaled to 30 adults, 1 child from 3-6 years old, 1 child from 7-10 years old, and 30 sodas. This totaled up to $488.59. [redacted] came up to the cashier box and asked If it would be ok if we split the bill between 2 credit cards. The cashier was able to do that for him. The business' response was irrelevant to my complaint. The manager, who claimed he was the owner on May 2, 2014, had no business conversing with my minor child in the inappropriate manor that he did. He also continued to argue with me that she was not the age her and I both stated. When I produced her legal birth certificate, we didn't even get so much as an apology for his mistake.

My name is [redacted], the manager of the Hibachi Grill.  I am writing this letter to respond the complaint the ID #[redacted].
On May 2, 2014 the customer name [redacted] brought her family to dine at our restaurant a party of 4 adults and 4 children.
As a policy of our restaurant, we...

charge 11 years old and over as adult price.  We did not charge her daughter as adult price because she told us she was ten only.  But I did charge another girl for adult price after she telling us she was 11 year old.

Review: On May 2, 2014 my family and myself went to Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet. Upon being seated the waitress asked the ages of the children. I stated that three of the children were ten years old and one was six years old. After getting her plate of food, my ten year old daughter informed me that the owner asked her age while she was at the buffet putting food on her plate. She told him that she was ten and he replied with "I don't believe you, you're lying". When the waitress brought the ticket I noticed they charged me adult price for one of the ten year olds and child price for the other two. I explained that I was not going to pay a different price for one when they were the same age. He called the police and insisted I pay the full price of the bill they brought to my table. The next day I brought my daughter's birth certificate to the restaurant to show him that she was in fact ten years old. The owner never even apologized or even offered to make up for his rude and inappropriate behavior. I absolutely refuse to eat that this restaurant again and would not recommend it to anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and an apology to my daughter as she was clearly upset by the way the owner had spoken to her.
