contacted by Hickey Const and they did send me a written warranty as I requested, therefore, you can close the file. I wish to thank you for all your help, they wouldn't have done that without your intervening.  Thank you.[redacted]

Review: I contact Joe, of Hickey Construction on 1/26/2016 and received an estimate fro some gutter work/roof work which he sent me a estimate in the amount of $1,550.00. He told me the work was insured against further leakage etc. for 1 year and the rubber installed inside the gutters was a lifetime warranty. Joe did go over and do the work, however, he wanted paid immediately, which I did by check, Joe came to my house to pick up the check and was supposed to have the warranty with him. I hesitate paying him a little when he said, "don't worry, I'll email you the warranty today." We it's been 2 days now and he is not answering my phone calls, nor has he emailed me the warranty. What I would like done is for your help in seeing that Joe does indeed send me the warranty on his work and the rubber installed in the gutters. I would appreciate anything you could do to help me in this matter. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like the written warranty for 1 year on Joe's work and the one on the rubber installed in the gutters for a lifetime, which is what he stated.

We had a terrific experience with Hickey Contracting and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof.

Fantastic service. Unexpectedly fast estimate, scheduling and completion. Would recommend.

Great bunch of guys to work with, had a very good experience. The communication was seamless and my roof was done to my utmost satisfaction. I look forward to hiring them in the future for an interior projects. Very polite and very professional.

Review: [redacted] was hired to do a roof and soffit and fascia. The roof is fine, the soffit and fascia is average or below average. Nails are not properly placed and pieces have been coming off. I have contacted Joe about the problems and even suggested more nails, but he hasn't come back yet-nor did he put more nails in it. It looks like pieces of metal were slapped together on the front because of an extra cost to buy a full sheet. Seams can easily be seen and you could pull it apart because it is not secured properly. It is the newest work on our street and although it looks better, you can tell there is much better craftsmanship on much older work as you look more closely.I feel if this was their own house, better detail and work would have been done. If you look at their website, it says A rating on Revdex.com...well that isn't the case and they are not even part of the Revdex.com. Seems a little misleading.Also, some of the siding on the front of the house came down. They came back and put it back in, but you can tell where it doesn't line up anymore.Desired Settlement: I would like it to be taken down and properly placed back up, so that it doesn't come off easily and hopefully will look better.
