[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Assumed Answered] Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: It's really sad to see a business trying to scam their customer the way you are doingThe documentation is clearyou initially tried to charge me $for cleaning and now you are trying to increase that to $which is illegalI am willing to pay for cleaning of what your pictures showed which is worth for less than an hour of workCarpet cleaning charges are not warranted as their was previous stains to the carpet and it was returned as it was.Your story about having pans dry cleaning at that area is not trueWe were use the area right to the drain to dry the pans not to the left where that damage wasI am attaching a photo I had in the past showing the left area without the presumed dish drainer and if you look closely you will see the dish drainer is actually to the right between the sink and the wall where no damage whatsoever And it your story was true why would there be also another area of similar damage behind the sink where their wouldn't be enough space for a hot pan to cause any damageWhat I insist on is the countertop were old and in bad shape with preexisting damage, they flaked in multiple places as that's the end of their life and I am not responsible for any costs for thatI even called you about it and have written documentation from your office as I shared in our previous documentation that it was never fixed or replaced as promised by youI also have documentation between me and you on move in requesting it to be changed.I also have multiple witnesses who saw the apartment at the time of our leaving that it was in reasonable good condition and actually even your pictures is evidence of thatI also have couple of ex-tennant willing to witness in court of law if needed that you also tried to charge them unreasonably on moving outI got legal counsel which agreed that your demand are not reasonable and I still have to remind you that you are illigally withholding my deposit in bad faithI am trying to avoid going to court for the hassle but I am visiting Kansas City again in December and if the issue is not resolved by then I am welling to use my legal right Regards, Hisham Elsherbiny

I am rejecting this response because:...

It's really sad to see a business trying to scam their customer the way you are doing. The documentation is clear. you initially tried to charge me $135 for cleaning and now you are trying to increase that to $400 which is illegal. I am willing to pay for cleaning of what your pictures showed which is worth for less than an hour of work.
