Well, they didn't take them down any stairs. The owner owes me at least half of the $125. By saying she's a reasonable person, it does not let her off the hook, because of her angry behavior. It is just a convenient way to get out of paying a refund. It is unprofessional and unethical, but maybe that's how she does business. I want $62.50 in refund, mailed to my home!  I also hope a complaint mark is placed upon her business.

Mrs. [redacted] did provide photos.  Unfortunately I could not see the damage in the photos.  She was asked to come in and pay the pick up fee of $125.00.  At that time she signed documentation stating her furniture was clean and in excellent condition.  I can provide this...

documentation if needed.  My movers arrived at her home at the scheduled time to find the varnish was completely off the tops of the Bedroom pieces, and there was a large chip in the glass top for the table.  I cannot take chipped glass it is a liability on my part if someone cuts themselves.  Mrs. [redacted] has consigned with me before and knows that I do not take furniture in the condition that hers was in.  They took pictures of the damage and it was texted to the manager and the decision was made that we could not take. I can provide these photos if needed.  I am a fair person.  I am always willing to work with someone regarding these matters.  What she is asking is fair and I would have certainly given her a partial refund, but before I could speak with and try to work this out, she began to tell everyone I was a thief.  I am by no means a thief.  This caused me to not want to have any further dealings with her.
