Hideaway Country Inn

My self and a few of my friends stayed at the Hideaway Inn last Friday. We had a billing issue that we tried to sort out during our stay with no resolve. The staff had the owner contact me when she returned from vacation. The owner, [redacted] , was very rude and disrespectful on the phone. She blames the customer for everything (as you can see in her responses to other reviews) Her and her staff take absolutely no accountability or ownership of issues in her establishment. Finally after my credit card co contacted her then I received an itemized bill that we asked for both days of the stay and when I was on the phone with [redacted] . She repeatedly raised her voice, continually stated how she worked 15hrs/ day for 6 days (she is the owner!). She all but called us liars. I actually put the phone on speaker so my husband could hear her! Not recommended by any of us that stayed that night! Beware and please read the reviews before you book. Many other experiences like ours!

I also stayed the night of Jan.22, and was treated the same way by the owner over the phone She yelled at me and whined about how many hours a day she works She is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever come in contact with The main issue was the billing Noone could seem to add basic pricing and numbers We didn't leave without paying our bill as she replied to the previous comment that is a lie and we also were not intoxicated like she said She was not there and noone gave us a breathalizer, not sure why she commented like that She didnt have a problem accepting our money for her overpriced drinks in her "pub" Finally, I do NOT recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be scolded by the owner and overcharged and never given a proper computerized printout of your bill
