*** ***-Your original case was from around My staff did not have access to the records from your original intake A money back guarantee on a case where restitution is owed is something that we never do now, nor have we done that in many years That being said, we

In response to your email stating I could still respondThere was nothing resolvedI was lied to and am in no way further to having my rights restored as I was when I started with that companyThey claim PA was never included, however where I reside was an "oversight" on their partthey also stated my rights are restored in Ohio and after further checking they are in fact NOT. I transferred back to Ohio as with my work I have the ability to live at my choosing between Columbus OH and Harrisburg PA due to having corporate offices, and during my transfer learned I still have NO rights in Ohio to purchase a firearm

Mr*** had told use that he issued a chargeback to his credit card After more clarification yesterday, he informed us that he had not completed that request and will not do so Accordingly, we mailed him a check for the full refund amount yesterday He should have the check within in hours

We’re very sorry to hear the client is unsatisfied with our services However, almost all of the client’s statements are inaccurate (except that he hired us) All of the below as been explained to the client on several occasions: First, there is no expungement process
in Ohio that would restore his firearm rights in Pennsylvania He continues to be adamant that we should have completed an expungement for him in Ohio that is not available to him The client also never signed up or paid for an expungement (that doesn’t exist) in Ohio Second, the client was told early in the process what the services would and wouldn’t do and that if he intended to reside in Pennsylvania, an additional Pennsylvania service would be required (we have proof of the correspondence)The client insinuates we did things for him that were ineffective or unnecessary, but that is wholly untrue The services in CA and OH we performed were required for the additional Pennsylvania service he needs to be effectiveHe needed the services we completed in order to lift the federal firearm ban, that applies to him as a Pennsylvanian resident In the client’s defense, firearms are very complicated because they involve each state in which you have a record, federal law, and any applicable law that applies in the state in which you reside So here, it’s a mix of four different firearm laws, which makes it complicated for someone who doesn’t specialize in these matters We’ve done our very best to explain it all to him on several occasions, but he does not understand In sum, client successfully received the services he signed up for and was fully advised early on in the process about the effectiveness of the servicesHe was also told that if he intended to reside in Pennsylvania he needed an additional service if he intended to own firearms thereWe sincerely apologize for his confusion and frustration

We reached out to the client, listened to his concerns and addressed them the best that we could We also issued a full refund

Higbee Associates, attempts to maintain that they keep timely and relative communications with me as a clientThe fact that the firm emails me with basically excuses for delays and short communications without ever answering my questions indicates a severe communication issue resting with Higbee AssociatesAs for phone calls, I almost never get a person to voice my complaints toThe firm appears to relegate all communications with voice mail in and controlled scant emails out of their offices.This communication from the BB is the first time I have been told such detail of my case since Feb 20, 2015, despite my communications to Higbee Associates requesting a significant updateI have done so by email and phone messages left with my case workerI actually spoke with a receptionist recently and was told my case worker would contact meI'm still waiting for a phone call from somebody.I will accept resolution of this complaint, once I receive something in writing, indicating all has been completed as promisedConsidering I have obtained virtually all of my recent updates from the court itself and by my own efforts, I call into the competency of this law firm to maintain a real and meaningful communications with their clients

Mr. Higbee spoke with Mr. [redacted] regarding this issue and I believe everything has been resolved.  We were able to get Mr. [redacted]' case successfully completed ahead of schedule.  Mr. [redacted] provided useful insight as to what we could do better in the future.

We’re very sorry to hear about your frustrations. However, we respectfully disagree with your account of events.  The amount of time spent on your case also involved obtaining records from the court of your felony criminal record, which is why the court being backlogged was relevant. We also...

drafted and prepared various documents on your behalf.  Furthermore, you did not pay for the service in full and stopped making the payments you agreed to, causing further delay on your case.  Regardless, your case was absolutely on track to be completed in the time frame that was given to you at the onset. We believe you are confused about the process and perhaps have been misled by others.  Even though the services agreement allows us to keep funds for the time and work we have spent on a case, we had already canceled your case and issued you a full refund before you made this complaint.  Good luck to you.

Mr. [redacted] hired us to have his felony [redacted].  We successfully did that in a time frame that was much shorter than we originally quoted.  Our legal team was able to get the District Attorney to agree to not oppose our request to terminate his probation.   This...

was a huge success.   However, as a result of this success, the court agreed to terminate the petition without a formal hearing, which meant that our law firm would be notified of the court's decision by mail.   The court clerk confirmed to us over the phone that the judge agreed to terminate the probation on 2/24/15.  However, they have yet to send us written confirmation.  We followed up with the court as recently as 3/11/15, and were told that the written confirmation should be arriving soon.I spoke with Mr. [redacted] after in early February.  I told him that if he ever had any issues with not receiving replies to his emails or calls, that I would be glad to look into and that he could reach me at my direct phone number and email.   He never called or emailed me to voice any complaints or concerns.
