*** Towing & Salvage responded to a Call from the MtVernon City Police Department for a disabled car at 12" & Casey Street Mt
Vernon, IL*** *** owner of *** Towing & Salvage have been doing towing and recovery since I am fully qualified to tow a car without damaging itThe make and model of this car is a oldsmobile delta doorWhen I arrived on the scene at the car to be towed, it was in the street blocking the RoadLowered the FLAT BED TOW TRUCK to the front of the car, the car was towed on a flat bed with NO Wheels touching the ground, the Police Officer was on the scene, I hooked onto this car he said there was no keys to the car, So I then engaged winch to slide bed under the car and the
car rolled forward as if it was in Neutral and there was a mechanical problem alreadyThat's why the car was sitting in the middle of the streetI Loaded car onto the bed towed it to my
storage yard and unloaded car at yardIt rolled of the bed as if in NeutralWhen Mrs*** called about car first thing she saw was how towed it cause she knew something was wrong with the car, and was trying to blame me for damage when car was already damaged in the first placeDays went by & storage bill was adding up*** & a Male came out & said car was out of gas & wanted to see if it would runI went to car with them and the Male appeared to put fuel into cars gas tankThen went to car and start it, when he did it is a older style car with older motorIt started up as soon as he cranked itHe did not have to prime fuel engine, so I knew it was NOT out of gas and it stayed runningThen the Male that supposedly put gas in the car (we did not check to see exactly what he put inside the fuel tank) moved the car just a little bit then got out shut the car off, and then accused me of damaging his carI have Towed Cars, Trucks, Semis and I know the car was already having mechanical problems before I towed itThat is why we were called by The MtVernon Police Department to have it towed of* is trying to blame me for damage to her carI have loaded cars my entire life in front of Police officers on the scene and Never Once damaged a carMrs*** claim is completely and therefore we are absolved and not responsible for any claims or assumptions she may acquire
