I hired this company to stain my front door and was given a quote for it, which included preparation work, sanding the door to an even finish and handwashing it inside and out, which never happenedThe door was then stained and looked great, then the painter slopped mineral spirits on it leaving run marks as he was trying to clean around the door where he slopped stain on my walls and ceilingHe came back too soon as the door was still wet and quickly put on the polyurethane, grabbed my check and took offThe polyran all down the door and onto the floor, what a messI called the owner the next day to complain, he assured me it would be fixedThe owner and the painter came out the next day and told me they would strip both sides and refinish itAfter striping only one side the Owner, stated that they would not strip the other side as it has taken too long thus farThe painter put a second coat of stain on the outside of the door over the polyand one coat on the insideThe next day the painter did not show up as scheduled and after several calls between the owner and I, I told him to have the painter polythe outside and apply a second coat of stain to the inside and I would do the rest myselfThe painter was never on time and left me with a big mess, I had to clean up, and repaint my entire entry way, walls and ceiling where he had slopped stainI saw that my check had been cashed before they came back over to, "fix their mistake"This was an expensive lesson learned on my part, I could have made this big mess myself
