That said today I went in to pick up a part & was insulted & disrespected by an employee I’d never seen before at the parts counter. After he pulled out the part ( wrong part) & I said WTF is that, not in a loud or aggressive way. He told me watch my attitude, he didn’t order the part & he didn’t have to deal with me. I told him to watch the attitude remarks & he aggressively said he’d be as professional as he needed to be.? But he wasn’t. He was rude, aggressive, insulting, short & had a pushy threatening tone. I told him , just refund my money & I’ll find the part somewhere else. He also was not professional in appearance or demeanor.
I’ve always liked HC & drove by 2 shops closer to my house to shop there but since they are obviously challenged to find good help now, I may never shop there again. Certainly not for parts!
Sad news at High Country.

Let me re-emphasis! There are some really great people at HC! But we all know one employee with a “s

Whom it May Concern,
This email is in response to the attached letter regarding complaint #[redacted], in which Mr. [redacted] claims we scratched the rear fender of his motorcycle while his motorcycle was in for a tire change. Our records show that Mr. [redacted] brought his 2002 Harley-Davidson [redacted] to our facility on June 1, 2014 requesting some diagnostic work for a running condition as well as a front & rear tire change. He picked up his motorcycle on June 4, 2014 without any mention of any scratches discovered.
Mr. [redacted] did not contact the dealership regarding damages until he sent an email inquiry through our website on or about October 25th. Our General Manager, [redacted], immediately attempted to contact the customer numerous times but ended up only leaving voicemails explaining that we would need to see the motorcycle in order to determine how to fix it and possibly determine the cause.
Happily, Mr. [redacted] stopped by to our store today & was able to show us his concerns. We documented damage to the left side of the vehicle including the turn signal, fuel tank (dent & scratch), as well as the fender scratch. It is our opinion that at some point the motorcycle either fell over or something fell onto it causing the damage.
While we do not agree that we caused the scratch (not part of the motorcycle likely damaged during a tire change), our Service Manager did agree to repair the fender at no charge to the customer. We anticipate the repair to be completed in approximately one week.
Should you need any additional information, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
