My husband and I stumbled onto the website for High End Appliances after we had a terrible experience at a large appliance storeWe were in the market for a high end range since we both love to cook, however budget was pretty tightAlthough the store was about two hours away, we decided to give it shotFrom the moment we walked in we knew we made the right decisionGeorge is extremely knowledgeable and helped us decide on a rangeHis amazing prices even allowed us to upgrade to the larger range and better brandWhile we were there, I started looking at the other available appliancesGeorge helped us pick out a high end refrigerator as well as a dishwasher and his prices for both were fantastic We were planning to purchase a regular refrigerator and dishwasher, but George was able to price these appliances within our budgetOur house is still being constructed, so we asked if George could hold onto all of the appliances (which is a lot to ask for), however George was more than happy to keep them safe for us until our home is completeEven though we are two hours away, his delivery charges are extremely reasonableTruthfully we could not have been happier with our entire experience with George and High End AppliancesGeorge runs his business the way all businesses used to be run, with fabulous customer service, superior knowledge and great productsI have already recommended High End Appliances to all of our friends and family and will continue to do soWe are so thankful we found High End Appliances and for all of George’s help!

I purchased a used stove and hood from High End Appliances, LLC sight unseen over the phone I emailed and texted a few times with George He was very knowledgeable and explained the condition of the equipment It arrived on time the next day exactly as described A couple days after we got it hooked up I noticed that the stove was making some odd noises George sent a certified repair company in a timely fashion and paid for all charges Both the stove and hood work great now and I'm very happy with the product and service

We used High End Appliances to remodel our kitchen and laundry room in George is great to work with: available, accommodating and organizedHaving dealt with a multitude of other contractors during the remodeling, we found George the most accessible We bought several high end appliances and are very happy with them having adding not only much value to our remodeled kitchen but fantastic products We recommend his business to someone seeking to do the same

   On October 3, 2014 this woman purchased a stove and refrigerator from our company. It included a 90 Day warranty CLEARLY stated on the invoice ( I am attaching the receipt/invoice to prove this ). There weren't any issues until she contacted our company on...

February 23, 2015 ( almost 5 Months later ) at that point the warranty is and was clearly expired. However we followed our normal protocol which is to refer the customer to our technician ( a contractor we use for all of our service calls). So they set up a date to come look at the appliances however for reasons out of his control he was unable to make the appointment. He did contact the customer to reschedule and she refused. This is an unfortunate situation as we stride to keep all of our customers satisfied. However we are not liable for any lost food as the warranty is expired. If she would like to have the technician come look at the appliances for a small fee we would be glad to set that up for her. At this point that is the only option we can offer. I have received such consistently good service from George at Highend Appliances, LLC that I felt I should leave a review. And lest anyone think I somehow stand to gain financially or otherwise from this review I can honestly tell you, I do not.
I first happened upon Highend when doing a [redacted] search for appliances in the CT area. I own a multifamily and wished to upgrade a fridge and convert a stove/oven from gas to an electric one (and in one case replace a broken dishwasher). I found George and was at first a little skeptical. His prices are good and his selection is great. Too good to be true I thought.
They were delivered in a timely fashion (which is more than I can say for [redacted] or utilities waits!) and with great care. Due to my old building and narrow entrances, they had to bring the fridge up the emergency escape! This is service above and beyond the call of duty.
Everything worked well, save the dishwasher. These are used / refurbished appliances in some (or most) cases, so I expect some of the time for there to be a few problems as long as they can be remedied quickly and affordably.
Well, I called George and he had a serviceman out to my place the next day and in 5 minutes had fixed, what my electrician friend couldn't even hint at when he took a look.
I have since bought a washer and dryer from him. George is friendly, knowledgable and almost always immediately accessible.
I write this review in hopes that you will give Highend Appliances a chance. In my experience, they will not disappoint.
Lastly, I needed help with an over that had been wired incorrectly (only found out subsequent to the fix). I had 2 electricians come out and solve absolutely nothing. Cost me an arm and a leg. And time. I should have called George right away. He not only sells great appliances, but he knows good service people too. Anyway, it was a Saturday (good luck finding anyone, right?) and he called his serviceman / friend who came out and I am not kidding, in 15 minutes had solved the entire problem that 2 E1-certified electricians couldn't solve even a little, but were happy to charge their outrageous "service call fee". In the end, George and his serviceman saved me BIG TIME on a weekend when I had new tenants moving into this apartment.
THANK YOU GEORGE and Highend Appliances!! I will use you for ALL my future appliances purchases and repairs.

I bought a beautiful lightly used [redacted] range from High End Appliances last week, saving more than 30% off retail. I found this business via an ad for this range on [redacted] and did not know what to expect. What I found was a beautiful store on Main St in New Britain filled with amazing high end appliances at great prices. The owner, George, was fantastic. He delivered and installed the range within 48 hrs and came back on a Sunday a week later to make a few necessary adjustments. The range came with a one year parts and labor warranty and while I do not expect any problems, I have no doubt that if I have any, George will stand behind his sale 100%. Highly recommended on all fronts!

      The warranty is clearly stated on the invoice that we have already sent in. In addition we do tell the customers that if there are any issues after the warranty we have someone who can service them for a fee. This is why we referred her to our technician as we always do in this type of issue. As we stated yesterday there were arraignments for the technician to come to her home, and keep in mind she called us for the first time this week and she filed a complaint before we even had a chance to take care of the issue (I am attaching text messages to prove this). Anyways she is right the technician could not make it to the first appointment (this is not our fault!!!) and the next morning we text her to apologize and set up another appointment for that day (yesterday) to which she replied " No worries I am filing a report to the Revdex.com " . That is the messages I am attaching to this complaint. At this point we are not offering any further compensation for this matter as we were just trying to be good business people and she  not only didn't give us a chance but she then reports us to the Revdex.com which will show up against our company weather the matter is closed or not and this was simply not necessary. If she continues to tell lies about our company we WILL take legal action as she is defaming our companies good name. Thanks

High End Appliances in New Britain CT has one of the nicest, cleanest, organized and well managed appliance stores that I've seen. They also have very good quality appliances and good prices. I bought a stainless kitchen set from them a few months ago and my sister just bought a stove after see how nice my appliances are. All of the appliances work great and we haven't had any issues with any of them. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is in the market for appliances.

Review: I purchased a used stove and refrigerator in October 2014, inquired about a warranty, was advised that if I had any problems they would repair and/or replace. February 24th the temperature gage in the refrigerator read 82 degrees and when I tried to change it to the proper temperature it wouldn't change. I lost some food, which was thrown out. I Contacted the store and they said someone would arrive about 6pm. I had another obligation, so family members were there to let them in. About 6:30pm I received a text that they weren't able to come due to working out of state. Arrangements were made to come Wednesday, February 25th between 6:00-6:30pm. No one showed up.Desired Settlement: Refund for food lost, an apology and pay for repairs with another business.
