Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I'm not sure that the contract states "over $20." I have no way of knowing if my book earned over $because I have not gotten any financial report from her regarding salesRegarding her comments about my not paying for books, she is not being truthfulI ordered one box of books in January with the understanding that she would send me an invoiceI never received the invoiceInstead, a couple of weeks later I received an additional box of books that I had not orderedI sent her several e-mails requesting the invoice and other emails requesting another box of booksI received no responseI finally had to figure out what the charges would be for the books and shipping from the one previous order she had sent me (with an invoice) and I sent the paymentI have never been anything but professional and polite with Miss [redacted] while enduring her insults and what I now believe to be liesWhich she is still spreading, to your organization, despite the fact that I paid for the books I ordered plus an additional order that I had not requested (which she denies - claiming she would never send an order that was not requested.) Please note she sent that second box of books knowing I had not yet paid for the first box, and still no invoice from her).When another author approached me for information regarding this publisher I was honest with him regarding my experiencesShe has been angry with me ever since, telling me I am unpleasant and difficult to work with and worse than any other author they have had worked withI told her I did not understand why she would tell another author that I had not paid for my books and that's why she didn't ship anymore rather than contacting me about the problemThere is no solution to thisShe is impossibel to work withI am not the only one with complaints (as you must know by now) although she tries to make it sound that way which kept me from filing any complaints for over two yearsAll I want is an official Reversion of Rights for muy novel [redacted] *** so I can go elsewhereI can send copies of the contract and emails but I dont' want to go over the minutesCan I send them later? I have been unable to work for the last year because of health problemsThis particular author, *** ***, had no royalties due her before my illnessIn my contract it states that I don't pay royalties unless they amount to more than $I am writing to clients now to inform them of what
happened, and that as soon as I get that done, I will then go over my accounts and send any statements with what monies might be dueThis particular author received books from me in but failed to pay for themShe then asked for more books, which I would not sendShe then began to complain about not being able to get books to other authors we had contracts withWhen I pointed out to those other authors that I can't send books without payment, she got angry with meIt's been hard for the last decade to deal with authors who sometimes think they have money due when they do not, and authors who feel as though I should provide books to them without payment, and I've dealt with all of itBut when I became unable to work there were a few who were not very understandingI have published books and there have been three complain over the past yearI will contact Ms *** within the next few weeks and resolve her issuesI hope this helps.*** ***

Regarding her comments about my not paying for books, she is not being truthful. I ordered one box of books in January with the understanding that she would send me an invoice. I never received the invoice. Instead, a couple of weeks later I received an additional box of books that I had not ordered. I sent her several e-mails requesting the invoice and other emails requesting another box of books. I received no response. I finally had to figure out what the charges would be for the books and shipping from the one previous order she had sent me (with an invoice) and I sent the payment. I have never been anything but professional and polite with Miss [redacted] while enduring her insults and what I now believe to be lies. Which she is still spreading, to your organization, despite the fact that I paid for the books I ordered plus an additional order that I had not requested (which she denies - claiming she would never send an order that was not requested.)
