[A No one from Highland Meadows has contacted me at all The issue is still unresolved They are already rated 'F' so it is a shame that you, being a powerful agency, cannot prosecute them for breach of contract or theft or sonething on my behalf They are basically showing disregard for everyone, including Revdex.com Will the police be able to help? Review: We filed a contract with High Meadows Vineyard Inn to enter into a contest to win the inn. According to the terms, if the contest was cancelled all donors would receive their money back. We sent them $150.00 for the entry into the contest. We received an email in Feb. 2016 from Cynthia B[redacted] stating our money would be returned. After many emails and phone calls on our part we have still not received our refund.Desired Settlement: We would like to receive our said refund of $150.00

Review: This inn ran a "win the inn" contest with a promise to refund the full $150 entry fee if there was not a winner. The contest was extended several times and in February the contestants were notified that no one has won because the did not receive enough entries. Refunds were to be made by the end of March. Hardly anyone, including myself has received their refund. I have called and emailed and have received zero response.Desired Settlement: I simply want my $150 entry fee refunded.

Review: On July 8, 2015, my girlfriends and I made a reservation for 3 rooms Aug 7-9,2015 after speaking to Nancy about the Inn and the specific cancellation policy. She made no mention of a group policy and referred me to their website, where it states 10 day cancellation with a possible $25 charge. No mention was made on the website of a group policy. On July 26, 2015, 13 days prior to our stay I emailed our need to cancel. Requested a refund less the $25 and heard nothing back from them. Deposit $755.70 July 8,2015, remaining $755.70 July 25,2015. Called on August 3, 2015, spoke to Nancy and was told that she thought Cynthia had taken care of the matter, which lead me to believe that a refund was forthcoming. On August 4,2015, I followed up with another email again requesting a refund less the $25 cancellation fee. I received an email from Cynthia on August 5, 2015 stating that they are unable to refund our monies, because they do not issue refunds for group reservations(2 or more rooms) Also stated they have a 14 day cancellation policy, neither of which are stated on their website. The website states a 10 day policy. That information is buried in the Terms & Conditions link during the reservation process. I also find it disconcerting that while speaking with Nancy on Aug 3 about our refund, Cynthia was posting on their blog that they are having financial difficulties and would be holding an essay contest to give away the inn at the end of this year. She did offer us a gift certificate for a future stay, which should they transfer the inn to a new owner is likely to be null and void. We feel that we asked the correct questions and followed policies as stated on their website. They have not been prompt to respond nor willing to work with us on this matter.Desired Settlement: Would like a refund of $1486.40 ($1511.40-$25) I sent a follow up email on August 10,2015 again requesting a refund, the different cancellation policies in separate locations, the fact that any gift certificate issued would mostly likely by null and void once ownership was transferred and that I would be filing a complaint with the AG of VA, Revdex.com of Central VA, the Bed & Breakfast of Virginia. I have all filed a credit card dispute with my bank, Navy Federal Credit Union. I also sent a copy of this email via certified mail. I have received no response.
