Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Why did then, during all of my stay in 2014(months), never went over $49.xx(including all things such as sewer, trash, and all the things he mentions), My wife and I were there at all times, and were always conservative and did we do not waste water, or energy resources, we practice low consumption, the and continue wit the same habits. It is very strange and unjustified, why has the water bills and charges increased so much since Mr***, became Property Managerin 2015, this water charges were never above 49.xx, for two persons in an apartment, and now he takes management in bills are $67.xx(Tenants), and $42.xx(tenant), when my consumption has completely decreased. There are excess charges in the water bills, and this is what needs to be adjusted
Regards,

Good afternoon,I have responded to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint numerous times. We do not have individual water meters for each apartment, and we do not have a set amount on how much a person's water bill will be each month. We are on an allocated based water system. The total property water is...

divided to each apartment by the number of people living in the apartment. We pay 25% of the total water bill to cover amenity and common area water usage; such as pools, building faucets, etc. Mr. [redacted] has had this explained to him already. I've attached a copy of his bills, plus the addendums showing the additional charges that come on his water bill each month. The utility bill due for the month of April 2015 (bill through dates 2/4/15-3/3/15, Mr. [redacted]'s total bill was $42.08. The break down of this bill is: Pest Control Fee = $3.00, Trash Fee = $6.00, Utility Admin Fee = $3.00, and Water and Sewer charges = $30.08 (this is after his spouse was removed from the lease). This is the same cost that every person living at High Oaks, who has only one occupant in the apartment, is paying. Mr. [redacted] sat in my office the first week of March, and I did review this with him. Due to privacy laws, I can not show him exactly how many people are in each apartment. This is strictly forbidden. I did however, show him the consistency of the bills, and a logical person can easily determine that the bills are being spread out evenly with number of occupants in mind. For the utility bill due for the month of March 2015 (bill through dates 1/4/15-2/3/15), Mr. [redacted]'s total bill was $67.24. The break down of these charges are: Pest Control Fee = $3.00, Trash Fee = $6.00, Utility Admin Fee = $3.00, and Water and Sewer charges = $55.24 (this is with him and his spouse on the lease). Mr. [redacted]'s utility bills are in line with all resident usage. Due to the fact that we are not individually sub metered, he will always have a water bill, and will always have the same amount of water usage as another resident with only one occupant. If his wife returns from out of the country, his water bill will then reflect the charge of 2 occupants.
