Do not use high performance capital at any cost! Here is my horror story. I am a very faithful customer yes I took a high interest loan but it didn't brother me at all. For years I made every payment no problem. I was hit by a drunk driver on a motorcycle and didn't call them fast enough to make one payment and they roped the car with out any care in the the world what's so ever! Even after I explained that I was in the hospital and up to this point made every single payment over 18k dollars with no problems. Not even 60 days or one payment they made me jumped through hoops and added all these fees on top of I am going through medically when I never missed one payment! Do not use this company it is not worth it!

Review: As of 5/27/2015 I still have not received the title on an auto loan paid off on 2/17/2015. I have called your office on several occasions after payment in full of my account balance. On 4/21/2015 I called and spoke with the person handling my account, [redacted] who apologized for the delay as it had at that point been 9-weeks since the account was paid off. She noted the title was to be sent out THAT week.and thanked me for my patience. I did not receive the title after this conversation. On 5/11/2015 the customer service agent who answered would not connect me with Ms. [redacted] and seemed confused about previous dates of contact citing "last week" as the date of my request for the title when in fact it had been 3 weeks since I had called to CHECK on the status. The agent suggested I would be receiving the title sometime the following week noting that it often takes 3-weeks from the date of the "request". I also left a message for Ms. [redacted] at that time on her voicemail and as of today she STILL has not returned my call nor have I received any communication from your office or the title. It has now been almost 15-weeks since the loan was paid off and the value of the vehicle depreciates DAILY resulting in real monetary loss for each day your office withholds the title from my possession.Desired Settlement: Immediate receipt of the title to the vehicle

Review: Very rude customer service. They mock you especially when trying to explain the situation. They threaten to turn ur vehicle if u only a day late. Lack of communication, I got a car loan thru them and voluntary turn my car back in because I couldn't deal with them anymore very rude rude people. Even though I made my payments thru their online payments which they insisted I never did and I had the receipts to prove it they still harassed me telling me to make a payment like a mafia ran business. Very very rude don't know what the meaning of customer service is. Wish I had read their reviews before I agreed to their loan. One guy from the company even started mocking me about my credit and bringing and basically laughing about my credit. There is no reasoning with these people I am very surprise they are allowed to treat people "customers" this way. And get away with itDesired Settlement: My last two payments as the contract was canceled before then so they have no rights to that money's as they no longer have the rights to it.

Review: I am trying to request the status of my vehicle title. I paid off my car at the end of March. I was told that it would be 3 weeks until I receive it. After patiently waiting, I finally decided to call HPC and spoke with [redacted] in Customer Service. I was told on 4/29 that my title was on her desk and she would be giving me a tracking number the next day. I called back on 4/30, spoke with a woman in CS (didn't get her name), and she gave me the tracking number. She must've omitted a number because IT DIDN'T WORK. I thought maybe they haven't shipped it out yet, so I waited once again until 5/13. I was given the right tracking number this time, but it showed it was sent out on April 13th, and returned back on 5/8. So how could it be on [redacted] desk on 4/30? I called back again to speak with Customer Service, and I'm transferred to [redacted] voicemail. I've left 3 vmails so far since the beginning of May. Still no response from this [redacted]. I contacted CS today (5/18) and they were so rude. I advised them of the issue, and they attempted to transfer me to her vmail again. I called back, spoke with the rudest CSR who cut me off and told me he would terminate the call because there was nothing he could/would do for me. I asked for his supervisor, he gave me the name [redacted] (no last name), and stated that he (conveniently) was unavailable. I asked him when he would be available, and he abruptly transferred me to [redacted] Voicemail again.Desired Settlement: I just want the title for my car. I've done and paid everything they asked, I am just making a SIMPLE request.

Review: I received a call from this company regarding my payment. I informed [redacted] that my payment can be scheduled for this upcoming Friday without a problem. He then begins to question payments from over 6 and 9 months ago. When I informed [redacted] that at that time, their payments were being pulled from my bank account automatically, he deferred my explanation and began to harass me for my payments which records indicate were in fact pulled from my bank account. [redacted] then moved forward with the conversation and started to harass me for a payment on this month's bill as he used the repossession of my auto as a threat to get me to pay. Instead of agreeing to wait for my call back to set up the payment, he clearly laid the phone to the side, and as I heard, he authorized a repossession for my auto on the spot. I understand that California laws require a Finance company to act upon non payments, but this company is using repossession of automobiles to intimidate their consumers. If a promised to pay is made well under 30 days past due, it is typical for a company to abide by the promise to pay and assess their late charges and fees. This company however uses their resources to intimidate customers, control them, and treat them with inferiority just because they can! Other consumers have taken their complaints to the websites such as yelp and it is evident that this company is not in business to better service their consumers but instead to bully them and control them without any concern or evident consequences. Intimidation is not how a business should be handled.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to be held accountable for their actions. I would like for this company to receive some sort of training or education on how to run a business where their consumers can feel like they are doing right by staying in business with them. They need to be held accountable for continuing to intimidate and scare people on a daily basis just because they have some sort of authority over their vehicles.

Review: High Performance Capital Inc; referred to in this complaint as HPC, has the following issues with services:

1. Fails to give itemized monthly billing statements via paper mail or access to online account information in regards to availability of viewing personal loan information such as balance or payment history. Upon attempt to register online to create an account, website states that an email with password information is sent to the email address provided at registration. No email is ever received containing a password. Password cannot be created online. Several attempts with different emails have the same results, no access is available to account information. Upon multiple requests from customer service for monthly statements to be sent, none are ever received. Customer is left "in the dark" regarding amounts due and interest charges.

2. Dollar amounts paid are not reflecting on balance correctly nor do interest amount percentage accrued add correctly to balance due. Customer service cannot explain amounts paid in full, on time; with no penalty fees. Example: $947.65 total loan amount, payment due 11th day of each month. $500.00 paid toward loan on 7th day of month. Following months total loan amount due is $745.58. Customer service cannot explain $300 difference between month one and two or where the additional charge came from, stating that this is "interest" which does not add correctly with percentage of interest given.

3. Website online states that paying via credit card online results in a 3% charge (which you cannot do, due to not being able to register) and paying over the phone results in a 5% credit card processing fee of your payment. The actual percentage charge from paying via card over the phone is 13%

4. Customer service cannot provide an address or information to return tracking device to receive title, or result is being charged $250 fee for non return. Question presented before final payment made, being forced to pay $250 due to no info.Desired Settlement: Explanation of charges from 4/2014 to present in writing and additional information regarding missing payments, excessive interest charge explained per conversations with multiple phone representatives.

Review: I purchased a used vehicle a couple years ago at [redacted] and they recommended High Performance Capital as my lender for the car note. A few months ago, I become unemployed and set up an arrangement for paying my car payment late while waiting for my unemployment benefits to kick in and they did and I made my car payments. The customer service representatives tried to bully me, told me they couldn't work with me, and were rude when I spoke to them over the phone. They informed me that they would be turning my car off, making it inoperable and that they were going to repossess my car if I didnt pay them sooner. Even though they threatened me, I could only make the payments on the dates I provided them and that this was only a temporary situation and I already found another job but just hadnt gotten paid so I would need a couple weeks to make my next payment. This was a couple months ago, I have been paying my car payments but my car still sits and doesn't work? I have been up to date with my car payments for some time. I have contacted High Performance Capital (HPC) calling, leaving messages, and sending many e-mails asking questions but they wont provide me any answers and will not turn my car back on or resolve my issue. It's been over a month and I continue to make payments on a car that I cannot use. I have had no positive resolve and I have asked your company numerous times to please take the time to respond to my e-mails because I can't talk to anyone over the phone. I have the right to know what is going on they installed a Kill Switch on my car after I bought it and I knew nothing about this? I was informed they would be installing LoJack only after I bought it in the case it got stolen. It is not right to continue to have my car turned off by a GPS, Kill Switch while I continue to make my payments and insurance payments for a car that doesnt work.Desired Settlement: I would like my car turned back on and an apology for their poor customer service response time. I would like them to respond to my questions in a professional manner via e-mail and follow up with a phone call.
