To whom it may concern, We have received the complaint from *** *** who purchased a Mercedes-Benz G-class AMG on 11/30/When she purchased the vehicle on that day the windshield already had a crack/star in itThis can be seen from photos from our website when we were
advertising the vehicleThose pictures are proof that she was fully aware of the crack/chip in the windshieldOn top of that, the crack/chip/star in the windshield was a deciding factor in Mrs.*** purchase decisionShe and her husband were going to not buy the vehicle because of it, we came to a deal that we were going to drop $1,from the purchase price of the vehicle to make the deal a little betterShe and her husband accepted the deal and bought the vehicleSince the vehicle is from and over 100,miles it does not qualify under New Jersey lemon law, so we explained that she would be buying the car and it would be a good idea for her to purchase a extended warrantyNow a little over months pass by and something happened with the vehicles break systemWhen we received the vehicle we sent it to the Mercedes-Benz dealer in EdisonThey diagnosed the problem and gave us the resultsSome of the parts were in fact covered under the warranty and some were not(like any warranty) We came to a deal on the costs or repairs and what they are responsible to cover themselvesAfter the car was fixed we contacted Renee to pick up the vehicleThey did not pick it up right away and during the time the vehicle sat on the lot in the cold conditions the glass cracked more and moreWe told them that we are not responsible for the glass because they brought the car to us with the crack thereThe longer they leave the car the more the crack spreads, because of the cold weatherNow we have a car on our lot that does not belong to us, and they still have a remaining balanceWe can not keep storing the car on our lot anymoreWe told them many times to please pick up the car and pay their remaining balancePlease give us a call if there are anymore remaining questionsThank you!

I am rejecting this response because: The statements are falseWhen I purched the car the end of NovemberQuality Imports was well aware that I parked it in at the Airport garage for one Month because I went away ( I have the receipts) When I returned from my trip on December 25thI drove to WeschesterThis was the second time I drove the car.
I called Quality Imports and told them the car was not working properlyThey told me it was from wear and tear and it was my responsibilityI insisted that they sold me a faulty carand they had to fix itthey took the car in and kept it until March with out repairing itThey said they were waiting for the parts from GermanyThey said that all the wires were burnt in the car and they had never seen any thing like this before I have saved the multiple returned phone calls I received from them stating they were still waiting on the partsThey told me they had to tow the car to a licences Mercedes dealer( I GUESS THAT IS WHEN THEY CRACKED THE WIND SHIELD) The photo they sent has a date of 9/27/( That date has not come yet)There response has a lot of "ALTERNATIVE TRUTHS"I looked at some of the other C/O they have from other agenciesThey have used this tactic to deceive people in the past I revived a phone message on 4/4/which I have savedThreatening to take action if I don't pick up the car He stated " BELIEVE ME YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT HAPPEN".As I stated in my complaint I just want them to fix the Glass that was not broken but got broken while the car was being repaid by High Quality ImportsI will present this phone message to get counsel on how I should proceed.

There is not much more that we can say that has not been said already. The vehicle was purchased with the glass chipped already. Both [redacted] and her husband were fully aware of the glass being chipped. The vehicle was even sold for a $1,000.00 less than the purchase price of the vehicle because of the glass being chipped. We tried to contact [redacted] multiple times but she will not pick up the phone or speak to us. We do not want the vehicle here, and would really like for them to pay their remaining balance from the repairs. From the beginning the vehicle was advertised with the glass chipped. Even in the pictures online and on our website the chip was in the glass. We would just like it for [redacted] to pay her remaining balence from the repairs, and pick up her vehicle. Instead she insists that it sit on our lot.
