We are in receipt of the above referenced complaint I am attaching a copy of our response to [redacted] ***'s only contract with our shop regarding this incident at bottom of this letter. As I mentioned in our reply to his negative Yelp Review, we are not responsible for parking lot damage to his vehicle This is the timeline of activity of his vehicle, represented through [redacted] ***, (***) at our location.WedApril - Vehicle was driven by [redacted] to our shop with a large transmission leak requesting we replace a bushing in the rear tail shaft housing.ThursApril - We pushed the vehicle into our shop because of the large transmission fluid leak Bushing was replaced We then noticed that the actual leak was from the driveshaft yoke missing an end cap We notified [redacted] of their misdiagnosis of the actual leak and they chose to pick up the vehicle themselves and fix it We then pushed it out of our bay into a front parking space, rear end first, for [redacted] to pick up that day.TuesMay - days after calling [redacted] we noticed the vehicle was still parked out in the front parking lot in the same spot We called [redacted] again to come pick up the vehicle and they finally complied. The vehicle sat for over days in a parking lot which is shared by two automotive shops ( [redacted] ***) We never drove the vehicle nor did we damage the vehicle The most likely scenario is a vehicle driving through the parking lot hit the customer's vehicle or backed into it None of my employees is responsible for backing into the vehicle as our shop bay doors do not cross the paths of any of the parking spaces This situation is no different than a customer parking their car at a local restaurant or shopping center and ten coming out to the lot days later to find a damage to their car His attempt to blame the restaurant owner or shopping center owner is ridiculous
