Review: I live in a condo complex, [redacted], in [redacted].

The landscape company provides services to my complex.

They recently came with leaf blowers to blow away leaves a few weeks ago and in the process broke garden items.

I sent pictures and price value to the condo manager who forwarded it to the landscapers, but they refuse to compensate me because "of lack of evidence and witness".

I didn't go out and break these items.

I was at home that day and heard the blowers.

When I went out to work the next morning, I saw the damages.

I want compensation.Desired Settlement: I want to be compensated for the items they destroyed.

I sent a list of prices to the condo manager and she told me that she forwarded it to the landscapers.

Response:

This is a response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint about receiving compensation for allegedly damaged personal items on her property. As a professional landscape company we are well aware of potential damages that can be caused by our business practices, therefore we have Accident/Incident policy in place. We take every request or complaint seriously and do our best to collect information so it can be resolved quickly and efficiently. After reviewing all the information that Ms. [redacted] provided us, we found most of the information unrealistic. Our blowers are not strong enough to break filled ceramic pots. Our professionals believe that they were damaged by winter freeze. Also, Ms. [redacted] had a lot of items within her beds. We are landscapers, if you dont want us to maintain your beds, we provide "No Bed Maintenance" Flags that are to be placed in your beds so that our crews know not to touch or work there. As Ms. [redacted] stated she was home and heard the blowers. I find it unrealistic that she didn't hear the sound of glass or ceramic breaking over the cement patio. Again we realize that we make mistakes but if we payout damages for every complaint that happens to us we wouldn't be in business. We work off of evidence, witnesses, proof and hard facts that show we are guilty. If this can not be provided to us then we can not take responsibility for the said damages. We are more then happy to provide you with our policy for incidents/accidents to show that a system is in place that is fair to the clients and our company.SincerelyHigh Tech Landscapes, Inc.

I am rejecting this response because:The pot was not broken from freeze, that pot has been outside for 3 years.I had a solar light in it and that was almost falling out of the pot. They probably banged it with the leaf blower removing leaves from the steps.I was home on the third floor of my home, cleaning closets. My home is very sound proof..all I could hear was the muffle of the blowers.I am not lying, you just don't want to pay. How would I hear this with windows closed in a three story house? Seriously? How do you explain the broken globe, broken shell and the mushrooms?they were under my car! How would I hear that, they don't weigh 100 pounds.the dragaon fly pick was blown into my garden, it was in a pot by my front porch.Would I purposely break items for the fun of it?You are a big company..I am the little guy.You will never admit to your faultsAnd this is YOUR workers fault.

Regards,

Review: High Tech Lansdcapes came to my home on April 30, 2013 to turn on lawn sprinkler sytems. A bill for 65.00 was left and I paid it on time. On May 13, 2013, I was sent another invoice for services of Febco Backflow Repair and Rotor replacement, services I did not authorize or witness. I have repeately called the company asking them to look into this and they have not returned my calls. I also receive monthly bills for these unauthroized services, the latest in October, threatening to place my account with [redacted], a collections agencyDesired Settlement: I do not believe that I owe money for these unauthorized services.

Response:

This is in response to the attached claim made against High Tech Landscapes. Please find attached to this email a copy of our records showing the homeowners signature in regards to the charges she is declining.

As their Irrigation provider it is our responsibility to care for the irrigation system and to make sure it is functionally properly. When we went out to do the homeowners opening, we always check the entire system for damages and we estimate it for them. If they sign our estimate then we move fonrvard with the repairs and bill accordingly. That was the case here. Also, please note that we haven’t gotten paid for these repairs either. She paid for the opening charge and that is it.

Let me know if there is anything we can do to remove this false complaint so that it doesn’t affect our standing.

Thanks!
