My hairstylist wrote a charge ticket for $50.00 for my hair style. The receptionist snatched the ticket from the stylist hand, and left the desk, telling me "she needed to check on something". The receptionist went to the owner of the salon, who told her to change the price. The receptionist came back, told me the charge was $95, and would not give me an explanation of the cost or break down of the fees. I called the owner the same day, left him a voicemail, and let him know how wrong it was to treat any customer in such a manner. I wrote a letter which I hand delivered today to him, requesting a refund of the $45 and an apology for the degrading way I was treated. He refused to take the letter, and said it was entirely the fault of my hairstylist for charging a smaller amount.
Attached is the letter that was sent to the client in response to her complaint. The client received a chemical service on Friday May 19, 2017 with an Advanced Designer level stylist. This stylist charge starts at $95 for her color services. The ticket was filled out incorrectly by the stylist because the client, who used to be a former employee that received discounts, was uncomfortable charging her the correct price. She has not been employed with our salon for many years, therefore should not receive discounts. We take pride in our customer service and would never treat any customer or employee unprofessionally. The client called the owner to leave a voice mail on his private cell phone instead of calling his place of business where she would have received the proper explanation. Then she also proceeded to talk with him on Tuesday May 23, 2017 without an appointment, not even checking in with our front desk to announce her visit. He was in a service with another client, but offered to meet with her in his office with the stylist that had performed her service in which she refused. We have since attempted to contact the client to set up a appointment to discuss the situation that occurred on Friday May 19, 2017. So far no response. In the letter that she handed the owner she told us that she would contact the Revdex.com by Friday May 26, 2017 if she had not received her refund. It appears that she did not even give us the time to respond to her.
