My wife and I have been clients of Steve Netzel for or more years He has always been honest to a fault, explaining how he invests We do not put much into the stock market as it is not guaranteed growthWe prefer REIT's and other investments that provide income growth All investments are a risk and Steve Netzel puts stops in the program so that if the market starts to go south that your loss would be minimal We try to keep a balanced portfolio We are happy with his services and have also had some of our family members invest as well He treats everyone very well has semi weekly workshops to keep everyone informed of things happening in the world of finance

I have also filed a complaint with FINRA and after learning positive reviews were posted here about MrN*** I feel compelled to post this negative review as I am amazed by these positive reviewsMrN*** is very good at directing things away from him with his explanations and I am sure he will paint a picture of me as the bad guySo here are some indisputable points I would like to share
He billed himself as a fiduciary from day and how important it is to have a financial advisor that holds this designation as he doesIt has not been my experience that he was a Fiduciary and admitted to a friend that he sold us stocks on a suitability standard which is not the standard of a Fiduciary
Yes he did some positive things for me but there is no way he can explain the losses I had under him in the stock market over a three year period from to when the stock market went up markedlyHe knew from the out set I was a retired fire fighter that wanted low risk, low volatility and all he did was buy and sell high risk stocks for loses, some buys and sells with in weeks and months of one anotherI asked him repeatedly to explain this and all he did was want to direct me to the positive things he has done
A competent, honest financial advisor who states he is a fiduciary would never buy a bunch of non traded stocks for a low risk, low volatility retired fire fighterEspecially since he never made any attempt to explain the pros and cons of this and never disclosed his huge commissions he made on theseI am sure it was in the mounds of paper work I signed and should have been more diligent it what I signedThat is however, why I hired a financial advisor to personally guide me through thisOnly after it became a regulation that he had to disclose this did I see this on my statementHe most definitely did not have my best interests but his own came firstBOTTOM LINE: I do not know if what MrN*** has done or is doing is illegal, but it is certainly unethical, irresponsible, reckless and totally misrepresented himselfHoping I can save someone from the bad experience I have had and finally put this behind me and start sleeping at night
