care. That is ludicrous, Im sure we all know no one can force anyone to do anything. That said, she was referred by her sister...although I do not know if the sister told her the care would be free. She came in on a promotional on 2/23/2015 for the complimentary examination and ONE spinal xray. She arrived at 3 pm signed in and filled out the requested paperwork for proceed. She was examined and xrayed and, When I showed her the xrays within 15 minutes of completion of taking them, I gave her my opinion of having several more taken of her spine based on the findings of the one already taken,and in order to get a better view of the spine. I asked her if she would like to proceed. She agreed. Her sister was there as well as my staff. I informed her of the no insurance cash membership plans available through the CLA group. The older sister [redacted] stated that "mom would probably help her out". Yes [redacted] was already under care, and receiving a "hardship" discounted care because of current hardships.Regardless, the older sister signed a hardship agreement that was to be reviewed on a month to month basis.Regarding the above individual, she agreed and we proceeded. No one was forced. She then received her first adjustment and was told to make the appointment for the followup visit of report of findings.
She made that appointment with my assistant [redacted] at the front desk.
She retrurned on 3/3/2015 stated she was in a hurry had to go back to school and wanted just the adjustment. I asked her to make sure she makes the report of findings appointment. She thanked us and left. Her report of findings would've also consisted of her financial arrangement for payment of services.
I repeat that we do not offer free care...unless we go to the Homeless Shelters.
This is the account of the events that transpired.

The paperwork is quite extensive for this reason. Problem did not start until payment was requested for the services rendered of 2 additional xrays and 2 adjustments. Followed by a very rude call by the individuals parent demanding to "write off the bill. she was not paying for it" , incidentally the bill was not sent to her parent but to her at a permanent residence address she provided. I hope this satisfies the request of this office. This type of stuff is both a challenge and distraction. My office, myself and my staff provide good honest care at affordable and fair pricing (according to UACC)...we never expect to be treated unfairly in return. Live and learn. Thank you.
