[redacted] Higher Power Supplies 425-438-Ext: [redacted] Response to Revdex.com Complaint ID: ( [redacted] ) Natalie Palomino purchased ceiling fans (LFI-CP36) from our company online on 06/19/2017, agreeing to our terms and conditions before placing the orderShe called on 06/28/to return the fans because her contractor said he could not install them due to the nature of the installation typeShe requested to return the fansShe was told that she can return the fans by paying shipping back as well as a 25% re-stocking fee (as stated in our terms and conditions) The reason we charge this is because the manufacturer also charges a re-stock fee to us as we do not carry any items in our officeThey are all shipped straight from the manufacturer to our customerShe did not want to pay the re-stocking fee saying that it was outrageous and she should not have to pay because it was our fault for not stating the installation on the websiteWe have the installation manual available right on the product pageWhen we tried to explain this, she dismissed it saying “no one looks at those”We were very calm in our response to her but she did not want to entertain anything less than a full refundAt this point we stated very firmly that this is the policy and she had accepted it when she purchasedShe became angry and immediately asked to speak to the managerThe manager attempted to explain that to herShe did not care to listen at that point and threatened to contact the Revdex.comWe feel that we are not at fault in this situationNatalie simply ordered without reading how it was installed and upon receiving the fan realized it would not workWe are always kind and courteous to our customers and more than willing to help our customers work through situationsHowever, I hope you can understand, there is not much we can do when the customer will not listen to what we are trying to explainThank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back on this situationHave a great day Best regards, -Michael J [redacted]
