It was indicated that we should have received a cancellation notice from the new merchant provider around mid-April Higher Standards did not receive a cancellation notice at that time.? ? If we did receive a cancellation notice from a third-party we would have contacted [redacted] as we cannot make adjustments to a merchant account from anyone outside the company that? does not show it has permission to make decisions on the merchant account.? ? As stated above, Higher Standards did receive a cancellation notice around 9/12/and promptly canceled the account on 9/19/As result of the account being open in September, the monthly September charges will also be incurred.? ? The Annual Membership fee of $and the Early Termination Fee of $were also collected per the terms of the Schedule A associated with the merchant account.? There was some confusion around the $annual fee being associated with PCI Compliance fees.? However, again the Schedule A clearly distinguishes between these fees.? ? There was also confusion regarding the Early Termination Fee reducing to $after a period of time.? However, this again is not detailed in the Schedule A as the Schedule A only calls for a $Early Termination fee.? ? Higher Standards should not be penalized for others actions or lack thereof as we have expenses every month a merchant account is open regardless if it is used or not.? ? Since no cancellation notice was received until September, the fees kept accruing.? The merchant should have a copy of the documentation signed by Robert on 11/12/that details out the information listed above.? Please let us know if you do not and we would be happy to provide a copy.Again, we are sorry there was confusion as we don't ever want any of our merchants to have a negative experience.? ? However, upon reviewing the documentation, we believe that Higher Standards followed the terms of the agreement and promptly acted when notified by the merchant
