My boyfriend and I recently bought our first house and Aaron of Highest Point was our realtorAaron was exceptional! If you want a realtor who really listens to what you want and makes themselves available to you for showings I definitely recommend this companyAaron seemed to know what we ultimately wanted in a home before we didWe saw a lot of houses but he was patient throughoutWe could not have done it without him and we are endlessly grateful! We love our new home!

After traveling 1,miles to move back home, I arrived at Highest Point and signed a roommate amendment and a lead paint disclosure and handed them personal checks for rent and deposit which they accepted; I was NOT provided a copy of the lease at this time

I receive a voicemail the very next day stating I MUST return to their office (mins away), before 5pm or I have to pay late fees because "the don't accept personal checks"

I received an email stating rent was late and if not paid by Monday would result in a day notice to vacate (i.eeviction); I immediately emailed the office asking for clarification as I had been to the office TWICE to give them said rent in the last hours; the reply email received was VOID of ALL text and simply contained a copy of the roommate amendment; no explanation, nothing(Customer service at it's finest)
After roughly emails back and forth asking for clarification, I was told " we don't do roommates, read your lease"
When I pointed out I had not been given a lease to review, I was told to ask the other tenant for a copy; only after more emailed requests was I finally provided a SAMPLE copy of the lease EXCLUDING signatures

Now, days later, highest point stated they would be inspecting the deck for replacement; upon arrival they also inspected inside the home (without notice or permission, even though the lease states inspection will occur days after move in, not days after move in)
The following Monday I was issued an EMAILED (lease states will be mailed to the address) termination letter stating MMJ is prohibited (pretty sure my PTSD diagnosis, active prescription, in combination with HIPAA laws may be valid here, but what do I know? That's what lawyers are for) giving me till the months end to vacate the property, and they will be keeping my deposit; additionally, Colorado law requires PROPER notice be served
I was terminated for not following rules that I wasn't made aware of until after handing them money
I was NEVER given a copy of the lease prior to having to ask for it multiple times in writing AFTER they threatened me with eviction due to the roommate not paying rent
Essentially, Highest Point charged me $1,( I have receipts) to rent an 8xroom in the back of a run down house located at ***, failed to provide me with proper documentation (i.elease), failed to even have me sign the actual lease, failed to properly serve notice to vacate (per Colorado law), failed to mail notice to the address per THEIR OWN LEASE TERMS, and now they have the audacity to ask me for a review
Please oh please feel free to ask for more details; look me up on *** or email ***; I would love to share my experience
Overall opinion? RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!
UPDATE
Today, (8/30) day of final inspection,
I arrived minutes early to two staff members on the sidewalk who stated the inspection had been done; I stated that I had not been notified of the schedule change and the male's response was "for what?"
( Ummmm, for the 3:PM scheduled final inspection that I left work early to attend and drive minutes across town for? maybe for that? )
I was not notified of any schedule change, and even spoke with the office via phone the previous day as I thought inspection was that day; nobody stated any schedule change, nobody stated that my presence was not required
Further proof of the high quality professionalism offered here(NOT)
With the inspection begin already completed, my presence not required, and no information needed from me or given to me; those two employees waited until my arrival simply to confront me about my *** review NICE ATTEMPT AT INTIMIDATION; I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU
They said they saw my *** review and would be posting photos of the "whole truth"; Confrontational much? i.e mmj

I even wrote a page long apology letter stating I had not been given the lease & was lied to about the terms I.ea *** room for rent ad stating friendly (address and photos included); offered an additional deposit for reconsideration and they chose to escalate it to this
If you don't like bad reviews, maybe you should run the back office little better & it might happen less? Just a suggestion
You say the landlord is the victim here and I fully agree
It's very unfortunate that your administration has decided to mismanage the owner's property to the point of a lease being terminated; its unfortunate that you've had the opportunity to effect the lives people and families with your blatant failures, its unfortunate that you run your back office like I ran my first lemonade stand in 3rd grade
In closing, Highest point, your attempt to intimidate me failed, and as I stated to your face:
I didn't show up to argue with you, I showed up for a civil inspection, which had been done; further communication was unnecessary and unprofessional
Should any further communication be needed, it is to be done in court

Aaron ***, with Highest Point Real Estate, has done it again! He has blessed my family and me with the purchase of a third home in the Colorado Springs areaAaron has been nothing but commendableThere were several hurdles we had to get through with a new build and I was very grateful for Aarons professionalism and his commitment to mending the relationship between the builder and IAaron looked out not only for my best interest, but the builders best interest as well
Aaron is a very selfless servant who genuinely cares for his clients and all that are involved in the home buying processAaron has extensive knowledge of the real estate business and is able to properly educate others on the laws and the rights of each party to ensure the sale of a home
I'm a single mom and I was concerned that I would never be able to achieve a purchase of a home on my ownAaron believed in me, encouraged me and gave me the confidence in myself, helping me make my dream come true!

Our experience so far with this company as a property management company has been horribleA couple days after signing a lease and moving into the house we noticed the icemaker did not workWe call and were told it was not something we needed and the owner would not pay to fix the unitNow we have another problem that they just aren't concerned with...our air conditioner is now not workingWith this company, all maintenance requests must be submitted through their websiteWe followed the procedure and submitted a request on Monday June When we were finally contacted it was Thursday and we were given the name of a HVAC company to contact ourselvesThen we were told it would be at least the following Wednesday before anyone could possibly come out to look at itdays later! the lady at HP office told us "were not required to fix it, you don't need it" as she doesnt have AC at her homeOh and our mwo and back door do not work! We pay $1300/ month! Unacceptable

Aaron is a great realtorHe is good at finding the right place and getting a fair dealI appreciated his help with a selling realtor who was not kind nor helpfulHe watched out for us and made sure we weren't cheatedI definitely will trust him with our next housing experience

Highest Point did a great job in helping with the process of selling our first homeHP walked us through issues that came up, and left us feeling satisfied with the whole experience

If you want a realtor who really listens to what you want and makes themselves available to you for showings I definitely recommend this company. Aaron seemed to know what we ultimately wanted in a home before we did. We saw a lot of houses but he was patient throughout. We could not have done it without him and we are endlessly grateful! We love our new home!
