Review: On October [redacted] I paid Highland Optometry 96 dollars to have my lenses in my glasses replaced. The secretary stated that it would take about 2 weeks because they send them to a company to be done and gave me a receipt and would call me when they came back in. I am getting married in February and just bought a house so I have been extremely busy and forgot to call them and ask where my glasses were. Today 12/**/13 I finally called and [redacted] answered and stated that she has been meaning to call me and that the company they send the glasses out to broke my frames. I asked why she hasn't called me and she retracted her statement and said that the company just called her today, which I think is a lie since it has been over a month that they have now had my glasses. She then right away tried to ask me if she could call me back because she had to make an appointment with someone else and I asked her to please not hang up and that I think this is an important phone call. I then said those were Burberry frames, and she said I am sorry this never happens. She had no resolution and was speechless basically the whole conversation. She did not have an answer to anything I asked.. I asked if she could talk to the doctor and see what he can do? I asked their policy when this happens? I asked who's liability this was because I never signed a contract or liability agreement? She said she would call me back. When she called back all that they offered was my 96 dollars back or free frames from there. I once again stated that my frames were burberry and they do not sell them there. She tried to tell me that she has other designers. Those designers are not comparable to the frames that I had. I spent a lot of money on my frames and obviously wanted to keep them since all I asked for was a lens replacement. I called another eye doctor and asked their policy and they said that their patients sign a liability agreement before they take their frames. I did not sign any contract or liability form.Desired Settlement: It would be great to get the 96 dollars back and them to replace my burberry frames. If they will not buy me new burberry frames then I will take a check for the amount they are worth along with my 96 dollars for the lenses. I also would like an answer to who is liable when this happens? If they send out their frames there has to be a contract with this business they use and one of them either Highland Optometry or the lens business has to be liable.
