The owner [redacted] "[redacted]" [redacted] is an out and out scam artist- he'll promise you heaven and deliver you hell . He made me promises to fix small existing issues and never did -now those small issues have caused bigger ones. I hate to see what happens to customers with even worse problems. The warranty company he gives with your auto is garbage and hs a "F" rating with Revdex.com . There are numerous complaints against Highland Park Motors and the warranty company [redacted] Auto Protection they use with Consumer Affairs. I myself while making my car payment witnessed another customer calling the police to the premises on another complaint with them all. I guess that should have tipped me off as to what I was in for but hindsight is 20/20 right? "[redacted]" likes to scream at female customers as an intimidation tactic when their alone as I was but jumps in his car and takes off when I bring a male along....that should give everyone a clue as to what a spineless crook this guy is .....take your business elsewhere and get treated with dignity at a better place of business because all you'll get here is a run around. I've been waiting for parts since Feb 9 2015 it's now April 20th 2015 and I dare not drive the car more than a few miles to the store now and then as different warning lights come on all the time. Car needed a compressor from day one which was promised but not delivered so it keeps going through serpentine belts which "[redacted] " did replace cause they were only $20 to $ 30 but will keep failing til compressor is fixed - the compressor is only $125 in the junkyard and about a $250 cost to install but "[redacted] " can't be bothered even though he promised that along with door locks and a new windshield -- he should have told me to not hold my breath but he kept promising to fix things until I got fed up and bought the compressor myself -then he promised to install today Monday April 20th 2015 and I even have him on tape saying so and saying he'd credit me toward what I owe on my payments for the cost of the compressor but when I showed up he jumped in his car to leave saying he told me to come tomorrow....I know that tomorrow he will pull another excuse so this time I went to the police and reported it who told me they have had numerous complaints on this guy to the point they'd like him out of their town...I also signed complaint with Consumer Affairs but all this takes time and in the meantime I have to keep paying on a car thats no good....on top of that "[redacted] " and his lovely wife "[redacted]" are aware I am a Cancer survivor who just lost all in Hurricane Sandy ...but did that make them have a heart ? Only enough heart to take my money and talk about their upcoming trip back home to Greece (on my dime and along with many other dissatisfied customers payments) If Karma truly works these folks will answer someday for the wrongs they are doing to people. It's shameful how low some people will go just to make a buck.....don't give your business to these creeps. And above all if your a female don't go there alone. If there was a way to rate this with no stars I would have done that. Worst business I've ever dealt with in my 58 years.

Best experience I have had buying a used car. The folks there made my financing process a seamless one. Nice and friendly people! I've purchased 5 cars there and have had no problems with any of them!
