Highlands Fiber Network is a Fiber-­-to-­-the-­-Home network providing Gigabit Internet to residents in the Issaquah Highlands. The network is owned and managed by the community.
 
Highlands Fiber Network has been working diligently with the current subscriber at [redacted]...

[redacted] since they moved to the community of the Issaquah Highlands in late August 2016. (Attached are logged conversations/actions between the subscriber and Frank/HFN Staff.)
 
HFN does not accept payments made by bank check from subscribers and have both Credit  Card and Automated Clearing House (ACH) options available to subscribers of services. This is also stated on our FAQ page (below). However, HFN has made accommodations for subscribers who are unable to pay their monthly billing any other way. To cover the human and bank processing fees involved with check payments HFN has a $2 fee per payment. HFN's general manager, Frank P[redacted], has had verbal and email communication with the subscriber since  their concern was raised in early October regarding this $2 fee.

This subscriber at [redacted] is not past due in our billing system as the $2 charge associated with their selected pay method has been regularly credited. This credit is reflected on the subscriber's billing invoice and online account. Attached is a copy of the subscriber's billing statement since moving into the community and subscribing to service for reference.
 
As HFN is governed by a larger community board that holds regular monthly meetings that the community is welcome to attend. This group reviews policy and determines the long term direction of the community owned network. Mr. P[redacted] has invited the subscriber to explain their concern at the next meeting scheduled on November 15th, 2016. As discussed with the subscriber previously, it is expected that this group will make a decision on if a change in policy is needed specific to this subscriber's concern.
