I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Dollar Bank acknowledges that they sent letters on 3/28/12 & 5/12/12 that clearly states the above mortgage loan has been paid in full and cancelled of record. Enclosed please find satisfaction of mortgage, mortgage, and note. I have included copy of this letter in an attachment for Revdex.com to confirm accuracy. Dollar Bank now states this account was paid in full for less than the full balance which is not what they furnished to me which under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) which consumer reporting agencies must correct or delete inaccurate,incomplete,or unverifiable information. If Dollar Bank contends that the information was sent with intent to deceive then Federal Wire fraud has occurred which as the victim will pursue appropriate action. We understand your concerns regarding...

the last reported status of your account with the credit bureaus. However our records indicate that we furnished an accurate and complete status that your account was paid in full for less than the full balance. In addition, we accurately reported that the payment history was in good standing and reported as a current account. We do not believe it would be accurate to report your account in another manner.
The letter dated May 7, 2012 accurately reflects the paid if full status of your account and included a Satisfaction of Mortgage which restates that the mortgage to secure the payment had been fully complied with, and had been satisfied and discharged.
There are many factors that impact your credit score, therefore a single action will not always result in the kind of change you expect.

We offer you the following information regarding our customer's recent complaint.The customer opened an account with Dollar Bank on September 26, 2016 and did file a claim with our [redacted] Department on October 31, 2016, regarding ATM withdrawals made between October 18 - 21,...

2016. The customer was sent a letter with a claim form to complete and return to us. We received the information back but needed additional information to include a police report. A phone message was left for the customer on November 14, 2016, which was followed up by a letter dated November 15, 2016.We did not hear back from the customer and closed the claim on November 29, 2016. A letter was sent to the customer advising him of not proceeding with the claim, as we were not provided all necessary paperwork. We have received no further calls or documents from the customer. The time period to process this claim has elapsed and cannot be pursued with Dollar Bank by the customer.We have attached copies of the three letters that were sent to the customer.
