The dates from them are always flickering and every week there is a new date also the amount that we paid have to be negotiated atleast 50% as per the suffering we have faced the company cannot take months to deliver the stuff we are waiting for delivery since may *** and we getting a date for july ** we explain in the previous email about the problems we have faced and that will be way higher than the shipping charge please consider my request and help me out to get my stuff with % accurate date and timei can not buy any new dates from this movers as every week the are saying next week for surehow can I trust them now??Regards *** **

above costumer did mention over the phone an issue with helping theguys on delivery to expedite the moveSo this Revdex.com complain came as a surprise.After receiving in home estimate some time prior to the movedate the costumer on pickup date requested to move additional boxes that werenot included in the original list on the quote he receivedOur binding quotesbase on agreed inventory list if additional items needed to be moved then we needto be notified in advance and charge accordingly.Giving that the volume of the shipment was changed thearraignment on delivery had to be adjusted as well and that caused a delay indeliveryBase on costumer request we had to send a straight track instead ofour standard tractor trailer to accommodate his delivery location which is notaccessible to a tractor trailer and we did not assess extra charges for thisserviceFurthermore we do not guarantee a delivery date on long distanceshipments due to the nature of the business, however we try our best to satisfyour costumer’s needs.On delivery the inventory was checked and signed and we didnot hear about any issues with missing itemsWe will be happy to process thedamage claim if we receive a detailed damage claim report with photos so we canprocess the claim according to our standard procedureSincerelyClaim DepartmentHighlawn Moving & Storage

I was told on the day of the estimate by an employee named Mark that no additional insurance was needed, and because of this I got screwedI have Video proof of the item being loaded on the truckI also did some of my own investigation and found out from an old employee who took anything they see that they wanted at the time.Also the guy Mark who came and gave me the estimate is a DJ like myself, so its very possibly he may have wanted my DJ mixerI dont mind settling but not for $I am so sorry that I never read the reviews onlineThis is somthing that the company always do because they know that they can get away with itThey offered another customer like myself $Go read the reviews online. I will settle for at least 40% to 45%

Dear *** ***,Kindly be informed as of date, the shipper never contacted our office with referenced to her alleged complaintWe have only learned of the alleged complaint from The Revdex.com. We hereby would like to respond to the shipper's alleged complaint:(1) Shuttle
Service Charges.The use of a smaller vehicle was required to provide this delivery service to the shipper's residence as there were restrictions and limitations which were not accessible to the line haul trailer upon arriving to San Francisco, CA.In accordance to the signed Long Distance Agreement, the shipper was advised of the additional charges if shuttle service will be needed for delivery in San Francisco, CASafety is always a top priority in our transportation fieldTo ensure this safety, not having to challenge the integrity of the public roads and structures, shuttle service was necessary to conclude this delivery process. Hence, the use of shuttle service for $was appliedThe shipper paid such charge in full directly to *** *** *** *** ** ** as this company provided the smaller vehicle, and performed the additional labor services in connection to this shipment delivery. (2) Claim for damaged items.As of date, this office never received any details, verbal or written notices from the shipper pertaining to her alleged damaged items. (3) Delivery Date or Period of Time. Highlawn Moving & Storage does not guarantee delivery dates for long distance moves such as the shipper's from New York to California unless an exclusive container is reserved for such shipmentsThe shipment the shipper arranged for was part of a non-exclusive container and non-direct delivery. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we sincerely apologize for any inconveniences it might have incurred as a result of the shipment not arriving during the time period she hoped for. Whereas, we will make our efforts to contact the shipper to further investigate and to obtain the details of her alleged complaint. They are not being truthful.And why was I not told that everything needed to be paid cash until the truck arrived???A check was paid for the deposit.All of my wife's winter clothes are missing.My 60" television had the stand broken off of it.Out portable air conditioner was destroyed.Gouges in our bedroom furniture...Gas grill was dropped, and damaged. The only reason why we helped the movers, was because they loaded the truck with young guys, and sent old men to remove it, and it was getting darkJosh was called and complained to about all of thisWe were not helping them, because I paid themAnd we had a scheduled delivery date a month in advanceIt took weeksWe slept on the floor. Josh came twice to measure the amount of inventory, because I wanted him to me sureWe even drove the lawn equipment down to our new home the week beforeSo it was not our fault he miscalculatedThe truck that delivered was larger than the truck that came to moveSo everything was thrown in a warehouse somewhere

that I have been dealing with at Highlawn Moving and Storage is David [C***]
I spoke to him this week and he told me they suspended the individual that we
told them had attempted to steal food from usHe also tried to downplay the
fact that he had tried to steal from usHe said, "it's not like they
tried to steal something from inside the house." I said, "No, that's
exactly what he tried to do." Highlawn Moving and Storage seems to show no
remorse for this happeningIt's like they don't care about their customers or
the fear that such an event instills in usWe were terrified they were going
to steal more from us after thisPlus we were afraid of what kind of people
this company is willing to employ if this is the kind of behavior they showDelivery was not in accordance
with the contractHighlawn Moving and Storage also delivers on weekends, which
makes Saturday and Sunday a business dayTherefore, they were two days lateI did not have the chance to sign
the inventory that they put togetherThe movers for Highlawn Moving and
Storage marked every single listed item as scratchedEven brand new furniture
that we had just recently purchased they marked scratchedThey lie about this
to cover their own liability for damagesThe movers had another family member
sign the contract instead of waiting for me to return home from courtI
arrived minutes after they left, but they seemed to be in a rush to leave
(probably because they were caught trying to steal from us) and to have my
mother-in-law whose second language is English sign the contract rather than
waiting a few minutes to have me sign itI told them to wait for me because I
would be home shortly, but instead they had her sign the contract and leaveI
think they knew that if I saw the list of items and how they marked everything
as having scratches that I would have disputed this from the beginningIn
regards to to the damages, this company is unfairly producing arbitrary partial
weights for items in order to try to pay us less of a settlementIf they had
been careful with our items in the first place, there would not be any damages
to considerThey need to take responsibility for the damages and provide us
with a reasonable settlementThe $they offered in the settlement offer

Dear Moderator, The costumer has signed several documents on pickup date in which two of the documents specifically address the “60c per pound per article” liability, generally without these signed documents we do not start any moving job. (Attached Exhibit 1 - bottom left section in her hand writing “60c per pound” and her signature underneath & Advise Of Insurance (previously attached)). Please see also Exhibit 2 & Exhibit 3 for other matching signed documents. Although we feel that this claim have no proof or any merits for compensation, for customer service related issues and reputation purposes, we agree to revise our previous offer to a final offer of $50 to settle this claim and consider it resolved. Please note that if this offer is not accepted no further courtesy offers will be issue for this claim.Please see attached settlement agreement for the costumer to sign and return to our office for a payment to be processed  Sincerely Claims Department

All of my Statements are correct, I have Solid proof that my merchandise was Stolen and I will be taking Highlawn Moving & Storage inc to Court. I was given a lot of legal advice and got some investigation done. I hope They are are ready for court, that's all I have to say at this point.

investigated this claim by the customer ([redacted]) and offered to settle based on his signed bill of lading and evidence provided. During the investigation, we did not find any signs that there was missing item. At the time of delivery he signed the inventory as if everything had been delivered. At this point are we able to determine and assess any misses or damages. We were notified a day later and immediately contacted our driver who stated that all items to this customer/location had been delivered. We however continued to do our due diligence in trying to locate this missing item. We checked the inventory both on the day of the move and when we went to the onsite estimate. This specific item (valued $2000 as per customer) was never mentioned to anyone of our team members or marked off on the inventory list. Once the investigation was completed, we processed his claim based on the contractual coverage he affixed his signature to and was aware that it covered only 60 cents per pound per article. The total weight of the mixer and case is 100lbs, which entitles customer to $60.00. Dear Mediator, The shipper opted the 60 cents per pound per article which
the claim was processed according to the moving contract and its limitations. The costumer who signed all the documents also signed the inventory list with the items marked scratched. This claim could have being denied base on the documents signed but we chose to offer courtesy settlement for costumer service issues only as pre-existing conditions noted.  I do NOT accept the $24 settlement   That is an insult to me. I did sign several documents, to which I still have the copies. That insurance document was never given to me and again I did NOT sign the copy they have sent to BB.  I stand by my initial resolution.

Hello Dear Sir/Madam, We Have Loaded [redacted] on Jun **, 2015 for delivery in phoenix city AL. On the move date the costumer requested to move and pack additional items that were not on the original binding agreement which required additional volume to be transported and was charged...

accordingly. Regarding tipping we have a strict policy and the movers cannot ask or request tip and we try to enforce it in anyway possible and a different story was told by the foreman however costumer comes first and action is taken.  The costumer have received her delivery with a couple of days delay from the 7 to 10 business days as stated in the contract. We always strive to give the best costumer service however because of the nature of the transportation business we do not guarantee a delivery date and a delay can happen which is not in our control.  We are in the process of offering a courtesy discount for costumer satisfaction. Sincerely Costumer Service Department
