If you are looking for the most inept and unprofessional company to lease an apartment through, look no further than Highline Property AdvisorsLet's start with the application/signing of the leaseMy girlfriend and I found a property in Forrest Park and notified said company, they then assured me over the phone that my contract would be ready when we arrivedThe day comes and I call again on my way to remind them that we would be coming in to sign the contract and I, as I'm sure many of you do, have busy schedules, so we expected an efficient and expedient processI was so very wrongWe arrive to sign the contract and the young lady at the front desk was incredibly rude and told me that she had prepared the contract for a different apartment, as if that was my faultAgainst my better judgement, we decide to proceed and move into the apartmentA few short days later, we start noticing some minor discrepancies, all very fixableHighline Property Advisors uses a third party answering service to receive all maintenance complaints, which is absurd considering how small the company isEvery maintenance issue we have had, (A/C went out, weather stripping on doors and windows, and most recently the shower becoming unusable), has been treated with zero sense of urgencyIf you try to call the leasing office, you are lucky to get the unqualified employees to answer the phoneI cannot stress enough, to not only use someone else as your landlord, but ANYONE else as your landlordJason G***, whoever you are, get control of your company To whom it concerns, Chris H

Owned and operated by a bunch of crooksSteer clear of doing business with these liarsI can't stress it enoughThey should have their license stripped and they should go to jail

two weeks after we moved in, we had a leak in our roof and a shelf in my closet fell off and after three attempts of filling out the maintenance report I had to go down to the office and demand to talk to someone and the person in the front filled out ANOTHER maintenance report and still no resultsMy roommate and I had to call hourly for about three days after two weeks of waiting to get anything done and when they finally did, my shelf fell after I put two things to hangAnd finally yesterday when I got home from work, my water was cut off, which is ridiculous because we pay rent (which includes water) on time every single month so my roommate and I call them separately and then both telling us we will get a call back, we did not so we called and they told us Birmingham water is doing work and that's why it's turned off so we called Birmingham water works and what do they tell us?!? That the water bill hasn't been paid and that's why we got cut off!

IN four years my apartment has caught fire due to negligent repair work (fire department confirmed this) and flooded multiple timesI have also had wild animals in my ceiling and my walls and I have called for over a week in tears because I can not sleep because they scream all night and they won't send wildlife control out They do not return calls or care about youHORRIBLE place to live

If you are looking for the most inept and unprofessional company to lease an apartment through, look no further than Highline Property Advisors. Let's start with the application/signing of the lease. My girlfriend and I found a property in Forrest Park and notified said company, they then assured me over the phone that my contract would be ready when we arrived. The day comes and I call again on my way to remind them that we would be coming in to sign the contract and I, as I'm sure many of you do, have busy schedules, so we expected an efficient and expedient process. I was so very wrong. We arrive to sign the contract and the young lady at the front desk was incredibly rude and told me that she had prepared the contract for a different apartment, as if that was my fault. Against my better judgement, we decide to proceed and move into the apartment. A few short days later, we start noticing some minor discrepancies, all very fixable. Highline Property Advisors uses a third party answering service to receive all maintenance complaints, which is absurd considering how small the company is. Every maintenance issue we have had, (A/C went out, weather stripping on doors and windows, and most recently the shower becoming unusable), has been treated with zero sense of urgency. If you try to call the leasing office, you are lucky to get the unqualified employees to answer the phone. I cannot stress enough, to not only use someone else as your landlord, but ANYONE else as your landlord. Jason G[redacted], whoever you are, get control of your company.
