I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowRegards, *** *** In response to Terry P's points some are true and some are false. I signed up for Highpoint fall of for a minor weed problem. The rep said they could take care of the ground ivy no problem. The treatment in the fall did not resolve the issue which I didn't expect it to. The treatment first treatment in the spring does not contain weed killer which I knew wouldn't help either.The next treatment did have weed killer. The ground ivy was still there and in a lot more areas now. Not only was there ground ivy almost the entire lawn now had some sort of weed. My neighbors to the left (does treatment themselves) and to the right had fewer weeds. I had fewer weeds when I wasn't using HighpointThe price of service for the result was not worth it in my opinion. When I asked Terry about the guarantee that was advertised he said that wasn't applicable to me. He offered to inspect the lawn yes but another treatment which I would have to pay for would be needed. Since there was no improvement with the weeds, they were actually worse why would I want another treatment? I was never told it would take a full season for weed improvement. I can understand this if your lawn was in horrible shape but my lawn was in above average condition with minimal weeds. I was actually told the ground ivy would be controlled by springI have attached a photo of Highpoint's guarantee. Why advertise a guarantee like this if there are stipulations?

Mr. [redacted] admitted to us that his lawn had a weed problem when he contracted us in October of 2014. We have this in writing. We told him it would take a full season to get these weeds under control, and offered him a Free Treatment in the Fall of 2014, that was contingent on him completing...

the 2015 Season so that we could properly address the weed problem.  We performed his initial Spring Treatment that did include a Crabgrass Preventer. Early Spring is too early for Broadleaf Weed Control, and it is our standard to begin treating weeds with the Second treatment of the year. We did perform the Spring Weed Treatment on his lawn on May 22, 2015. When he called to cancel our Service I expressly told him that we were more than happy to come out and inspect the lawn, and chart a course forward to address his concerns, including if needed, to re treat the weeds. Mr [redacted] did not want to work together to solve his concerns and instead chose to cancel his lawn service. In summary:Highpoint Lawn Service gave Mr. [redacted] a free fall 2014 Treatment based on the understanding that he would maintain our service in 2015, he did not.Mr. [redacted] admitted he had a weed problem prior to beginning our service, and was well aware that his weed issues would not be solved with one or two treatments.Highpoint offered to work with Mr. [redacted] to address his concerns. Mr. [redacted] refused to work in a spirit of cooperation.On May 6th Mr. [redacted] emailed us and stated that his neighbors lawns were filled with Dandelions, while his lawn had very few. He asked why some lawns have a lot and others don't.On May 10th he again wrote us saying his lawn was full of Dandelions. We treated all of these the next day, and he never complained again until a month later.My offered resolution. We are more than happy to inspect the lawn and determine a course of action to continue to address the weed problem that existed before he signed up with Highpoint Lawn Service. If Mr. [redacted] is not in agreement with this approach, we will terminate his service as requested and expect that his past due balance be paid in full, based on the fact that we were not given the opportunity to perform multiple weed treatments in 2015.Terry P.
