These people are straight rude because they know you have no other option
If your late by 1 bill they shut you off quick so that you have a expensive reconnect fee.
This company is trash . If you have any option stay far away from needing to use this company.
And yes sewage and water is separate . I seriously don't even believe they read their meters correct.
I'd say someone is filling their pockets.
But main point like the other guys review they are just ignorant nasty ppl like you owe them for using their service. At this point I'd rather haul in gallon jugs

Review: My property has free water because of a clause in my property deed. Recently Highridge Water Authority purchased our communities water authority (New Florence Municipal Water). On November 14th I noticed a leak on my water line. I turned off my water and began fixing the leak the same day. When I called Highridge they stated that I must have an inspector come to examine my repair work before back filling my repair. I complied and the inspectors examined my repair the afternoon of November 14th and I back filled. On Nov 17 we received a letter from the water authority stating that if I did not repair my water line and have it inspected by November 24 they would turn off my water. On about November 19 I received another letter from Highridge stating I have ANOTHER leak and if I didn't fix both leaks they would turn my water off on Nov 24th. On November 19, I met with [redacted] the executive director of Highridge water authority. Surprisingly he was not aware that I met with his inspectors on the 14th. My [redacted] was very concerned about the few residents that get free water and stated "You folks have been getting a free ride for too long". During our discussion, I asked him if I could see the data indicating I have a leak and he denied. I told him that no one notified me off a leak test, and I would be required to help turn off my water inside my residence, so as to isolate where the "leak" is located. For example I could have a leaky toilet or faucet or something within my house. My water line which connects to the water main is over 1500 feet long. Mr. [redacted] knows this and he knows it would be extremely expensive for my to locate and fix this leak on such a long line. On November 24 two days before Thanksgiving they shut off my water.Desired Settlement: I want proof that my water line is indeed leaking and when I fix it I want my water turned on.
