I reserved lodging through High Rocky Homes 2 weeks ago. Since then all the amenities for which I rented the place for have been closed due to the current pandemic. I am asking to cancel the reservation for full refund, but I would compromise with partial. High Rocky Homes is refusing to compromise due to their cancellation policy.
As I mentioned, the reservation was made when all amenities and services in the area were operating normally. The lodging advertises an apartment next to skiing and this is the reason we chose it. The ski mountain has closed early due to Covid-19 and area restaurants and bars have been ordered closed during the time we are scheduled to be there, which is March 27-30.
By keeping the reservation, I will not be getting the product I paid for, which is an apartment next to skiing. All I would be getting at this point is an apartment with no services. During these unprecedented circumstances I believe it would be good business for HRH to waive their cancellation fee or at least compromise for a partial waive.

We have offered credit to this guest as we changed our policy due to the circumstances. She has accepted and we are working it out directly with her.
