The Elastomeric Roof Coating which you state was "quite old," was in fact, put on by Sunvek Roofing Company per the agreement, signed on January 3, 2013, with the job completed on January 8, 2013. This was the roof that your company recommended to me. One of the selling points that motivated my purchase was that it came with a five-year warranty. I began experiencing the leaking problem over the Garage area almost immediately after completion. The first call was made in September of 2014. You would send one of your employees out who would in for lack of better words, install a band-aid to temporarily stop the problem. After calling so many times, I contacted you personally and pleaded with you to do something before my ceiling would collapse. You then asked for a few minutes to work up your proposal and within a few minutes presented me with your professional opinion. Your proposal quoted me three figures and you asked me to make a choice. You never stated that I needed a new roof, but, presented me a figure of $8312.00 to replace the roof that was still under warranty. The other two figures that I was quoted were for the repair of the area over the Garage in which you agreed to "apply SPF/coating at - pie shaped area, which you said you had marked off on my roof for your employee's to repair. The cost to me would be an additional $375.00 for the roof repair and $1150.00 to repair the damaged area of the drywall ceiling inside the Garage. You handed me your proposal and asked me to choose what I wished to have you do. I asked for the Garage repair because that is the reason I asked for you to come out. Your Company did the repair which I bought and paid for in August 2016. Come March of 2017 we had our first major rain storm. The roof totally failed Mr. S[redacted]! It appeared as though my Garage ceiling would collapse and I was frantic about what to do now. I ask please that you reconsider, and refund me the money. Make me a happy customer.
