I am rejecting this response because: The first house we ordered through Highway Homes had OSB listed on the build sheetThere was an issue getting the first house we ordered, so a different house was ordered in it's place, and this house does not have OSB on itWe have been told the OSB would cost $to install as all the siding will need to be taken down, and doors and windows taken out and replacedWe feel we should not have to pay for Highway Homes error in ordering our house We have also been told if we take this deal the warranty on the Siding will be void We just want the house to be the way we originally ordered it.We have been told the Inspection has taken place and that installation can resume I have sent an email to Joel saying what we will accept to take care of the OSB issueBut as of today have not heard back from him

We did start this process in november of and where looking to have the home built in the spring or early summer to have delivery when the customers site was readyThis did seem to take quite awhile and we delivered as soon as we could once they where readyWE had the Home built to the specifications and code for North DakotaThe wiring that is in question is for TV and internet connectionsI was told by my rep from the factory that they could run these wires this was at a cost of per jack and there was of them total being At this time [redacted] told me at the time of ordering the house that if they could not do it at the factory he would have it done at his expense once he got the homeSo I thought I was trying to please him by having the factory run these wires obviously this is not the caseI have told [redacted] that I would reimburse him the amount the factory charged which is and he would be back to installing what he wanted, once the home got to his propertyThe other items he is speaking of will be addressed by the factory under his factory warranty

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/10/13) */
Highway Homes has paid Mr*** for his home and understands its contractual responsibilityHighway Homes has been in direct contact with the park regarding the park requirements and current scheduling for removing the homeH2H attempted
to remove the home in August, but was delayed due to required paperwork with the park managerDue to this delay, the distance and time required to pick up the home, the H2H trucks and crew had to move on to another home and this home had to be rescheduledMr*** was made aware of this in phone conversationsH2H has no intention in abandoning the home and/or not fulfilling its contractual obligations
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 9, 2015/10/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Highway2homes has not paid the rent on the lot where the home sitsAs a result, we have been taken to court for a judgement of eviction on a lot we no longer occupyThe judgement states that if the home is not removed from the lot and back rent paid by October 15, the park management will have it removed and I will be billed for back rent and damagesHighway2homes has had possession of the home since July 15, and has yet to get it off the lotPay the rent and move the home before October
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2015/10/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Although the home has been moved off the lot, there is still the matter of lot rent that accumulated while it sat there for so longWe paid the rent through the end of AugustThe home sat there until October I am being billed for over $If it is not paid before court papers are filed, I will be contacting an attorneyThis man already is responsible for the park suing me for right to evictThey won the judgementI will not consider this matter settled until Highway2Homes pays Stratford Villa the rent and late fees
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2015/10/28) */
Again, it is Highway Homes intention always to perform the best customer service we canTo reiterate we were at the home on August 26th, at which time, the park did not allow us to remove the home from the propertyWe do not believe at this time that there is any bill owed to the park and if the park continues to harass or bill the ***s for any monies whatsoever, we cannot help what they may doWe do not owe any lot rent and do not believe that the ***s owe any lot rentThere is no money damages owed at this timeThe park can try to bill somebody for money, we have no control over thatIf there is other correspondence with the park or any court eviction, we would be glad to work through that at that timeBut it is our position at this point, that there is no money owed

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

We sympathize with the ***'s on their unfortunate house fire When they purchased their home from us I said, and he knew that there was some work that needed to take place on the home before delivery We commenced that work right away and tried to complete it in a timely manner
The work has been completed and the home is ready, and has been ready to ship & get sfor the ***'s Then just after the 15th of August we received a letter from an attorney the stated they wanted to cancel the deal and get their money back So at this point we have responded to the attorney and are trying to work it out to get the home delivered to the *** family

WE are ready to finish this jobThe OSB issue has been a major stumbling blockThis option was not ordered but, we have been trying to come to a resolution and get the *** what they thought they had orderedWe are ready to finish our jobThis option when ordered from the
factory costs about we have offered from Highway Homes and Champion has offered to kick in For a total of to resolve thisSo had the *** ordered this option it would have cost them along with the monies we have decided to give them to resolve this would be a total of towards hiring somebody to install the OSB on siteWe feel that this is a solution that is above and beyondThe *** are saying They are waying there options and said they would get back to me, This was days agoI am waiting on there responseAlso the A/c unit will be delivered upon resolution of this OSB option

As I stated to the attorney last week the roof issue would be taken care of once the home is installed or set upAgain we would love to move forward and deliver your home, if you would allow us to do our job. The home is ready and you have already purchased it lets get this completed so you have a place to live and we can move onIs there anything we can do to assure you of a good outcome? Thanks Joel

WE have been in touch with Miss [redacted] and the home has been delivered and set up. We try to do this in a timely manner. We are truly sorry that this did not take place soon enough for our customer. We sell a lot of homes and sometimes we are backed up. Our prices and the  quality of our homes...

generates many sales. This is on a first come first serve basis. This is why, on our purchase agreements it is stated ASAP for delivery which means as soon as possible, we make sure our customers know this and also put it on the purchase agreement. It is also stated we will fix the doors which we did but, at no time did we say we would fix any sheet rock holes or cracks. It was stated that Miss [redacted] father was in construction and he would be able to fix those. We are not able to do this work and do not have anybody on staff to do it. It requires a three coat process and it is not something we do.I am sorry if this was not clear to the customer but then we should review our contract and what is spelled out. The home is delivered and it is our hope that Miss [redacted] will enjoy it for many years to come.

This is an Email I received from [redacted] about the wiring for internet and cable jacks in the new home he ordered. I believe this is at issue that the wiring was not completed to the specifications that Mr. [redacted] had hoped for. AS you can see this would not have detoured him from ordering the home. So at this time I would like to reiterate That we are willing to pay him back the cost of the Jacks that where wired by the factory which is 220.00 for 4 jacks. This should make him even  And he then would have his electrician wire them to the specifications that would work for him. Thank You for your Time with this. We did start this process in november of 2015 and where looking to have the home built in the spring or early summer to have delivery when the customers site was ready. This did seem to take quite awhile and we delivered as soon as we could once they where ready. WE had the Home built to the...

specifications and code for North Dakota. The wiring that is in question is for TV and internet connections. I was told by my rep from the factory that they could run these wires this was at a cost of 55.00 per jack and there was 4 of them total being 220.00. At this time [redacted] told me at the time of ordering the house that if they could not do it at the factory he would have it done at his expense once he got the home. So I thought I was trying to please him by having the factory run these wires obviously this is not the case. I have told [redacted] that I would reimburse him the amount the factory charged which is 220.00 and he would be back to installing what he wanted, once the home got to his property. The other items he is speaking of will be addressed by the factory under his factory warranty.

I am rejecting this response because: The first house we ordered through Highway 2 Homes had OSB listed on the build sheet. There was an issue getting the first house we ordered, so a different house was ordered in it's place, and this house does not have OSB on it. We have been told the OSB would cost $7000 to install as all the siding will need to be taken down, and doors and windows taken out and replaced. We feel we should not have to pay for Highway 2 Homes error in ordering our house.  We have also been told if we take this deal the warranty on the Siding will be void.  We just want the house to be the way we originally ordered it.We have been told the Inspection has taken place and that installation can resume.  I have sent an email to Joel saying what we will accept to take care of the OSB issue. But as of today have not heard back from him.

I have been in touch with [redacted] and we are going to her home on monday 12/5/2016 to see what needs to be done to get this taken care of. WE should have the siding and the tie down issues taken care of then. Hopefully this will satisfy these outstanding problems.

I am rejecting this response because:
Considering the lack of service and the fact that Joel misrepresented the wiring options the manufacture offered. The offer is not acceptable. Joel state to me that he spoke to the sales representative at the manufacture. He stated that the representative had said this wiring would be available. In addition, Joel stated in February via email that he confirmed that the wiring would be completed as ordered. The manufacture states that this type of wiring has never been an option from them. It is clear that his misrepresentation or lack of follow-up is the cause for the wiring to have to be redone.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Still disappointed that it had to get this far.  The purchase was made in June and wasn't delivered until August.  Then they make the statement that they try to deliver in a timely manner.  This was NOT in a timely manner.  And their practice should be to make sure and get all agreements in writing.  I believe because it was 2 women that went and looked and made the purchase that they thought they could get by with their sneakiness.  My mother and daughter would NEVER lie about their statements saying they would repair the walls.  We were even told that a carpenter was working on fixing the doors.  Carpenters should know how to fix holes in the walls also.  $47,000.00 with holes in the walls and the doors, really.  But we are done with them, and I would NEVER suggest this business to anyone after the headache we all went through with this company.

I am rejecting this response because: We were told by Joel that the delay in our home was because they were replacing the roof, just to find out that was a lie because it still has no roof on it.
