4/28/We attended & showed our boats at the [redacted] Expo Show this winter My salesman met [redacted] & they loved the [redacted] skiff [redacted] *** They decided to purchase the boat motor & trailer 3/14/+ placed a $deposit The did not want to finance the boat w/ us & told us they would either get funding or pay cash for the boat So we placed a statement of deposits are non-refundable The reason for this is it was a left over boat & we had many people looking at it as well We held the boat for the entire show period just for them- Aprox week or 1/wksafter show [redacted] calls Marc to tell him her neighbor died + she could not buy boat? He told her deposits are non-refundable in her contract She was upset + hung up - Next a few days later she called to say she changed her mind & will try to get the boat financed at a bank + to keep the boat for her - March 28th during our large In-House Boat Show she called to say No I do not want the boat - could not get financingOwner Gary W [redacted] placed the boat outside w/a sign saying Sold! So no one would board boat or think it was available because she said she wanted it again - March 29th day of large Boat Giveaway she wanted to talk, come over to dealership, even though Marc told her we are all too busy Showroom was full + we could not sit down with her - The following week she had heated words with owner Gary W [redacted] & that was the last we heard from her We held a left over boat for her for weeks & she could not understand that concept along with the fact that she has "Deposits non refundable" on her contract Thank you, Gary W

DEAR [redacted],You addressed this complaint to the other owner here at Highway Marine Service Inc.; I am the other owner here and know more about what happened here, so I'm responding. I'm also enclosing some of the correspondence we have had since the purchase and now...

.This boat was purchased and nothing said about leaving the boat in the water, during the days we we're getting the boat ready for delivery [redacted] showed up and stated to my salesman that he wanted to leave the boat in the water at the shore. We explained to him that to do so, it needed to be bottom painted and run periodicity to keep the Jet pump clean of the organisms that would grow, as all boats in salt water need. We also explained to him [redacted] has a zinc anode on the drive to prevent galvanic corrosion and needs to be replaced periodicity as all boats do. I also said I would check with my rep for [redacted] Jet boats to verify that this is ok and would let him know if my statements were not correct. I made the call to my rep and he reassured that what I had said was correct- He also told me he had the largest dealer in the county that did this all the time in Connecticut and to call him to see how he did his bottom paints. We did this and proceeded to paint the bottom as per his instructions. I have been in the boat business my entire life and have own my own store for over 38 years and very familiar with salt water, corrosion, and maintenance on boats left in the water. I also give a coarse every year on maintenance of your boat for the past 25 plus years. We also restated to [redacted] upon delivery that he should run the boat every few weeks and pull it out and clean a few cables that would be needed to ensure everything would work till the end of the year. He agreed and as you can see Deborah, who is the main purchaser, signed our delivery and running instruction sheets and accepted the boat with full knowledge of this.On Friday July 3, 2015 [redacted] called my service manager cursing him out that "we" almost killed his family. My service manager listened to his issue, only to find out he had totally almost submerged to boat due to his "recklessness" by taking a wave over the entire boat and taking on so much water that it even got into the oil of the engine and wasn't running hardly at all. I am enclosing my service manager's e-mail to me about this incident. He then took it to All Action Motorsports to get repaired. While there he talked to an "absentee" owner that hasn't had hardly anything to do with current [redacted] products and is not up on what has changed. He told him that [redacted] jet boats couldn't be left in the water. That's when all this started. I'm enclosing my rep's e-mail to me after I told him what had happened and he contacted this dealership, which is one of his dealers, as you can see she said you can leave the boat in the water. I also had a conversation with [redacted] and the [redacted] customer service rep Brad and he also stated with proper protection you can leave the boat in the water .This boat has been submerged in salt water and should have had an insurance claim written to get all the electrical components replaced due to the fact that In time, some issue could occur due to the boats being submerged.I am enclosing what I have offered to [redacted] for your inspection up to this point and will honor said letter. [redacted] understood all of this.TrulyGary W. ,Pres.

the boat w/ us & told us they would either get funding or pay cash for the boat.  So we placed a statement of deposits are non-refundable.  The reason for this is it was a left over boat & we had many people looking at it as well.  We held the boat for the entire show period just for them. - Aprox 1 week or 1 1/2 wks. after show [redacted] calls Marc to tell him her neighbor died + she could not buy boat?  He told her deposits are non-refundable in her contract.  She was upset + hung up.

- March 28th during our large In-House Boat Show she called to say No I do not want the boat - could not get financing.
Owner Gary W[redacted] placed the boat outside w/a sign saying Sold!  So no one would board boat or think it was available because she said she wanted it again.
