in pipe indicating *** drain line is separated causing the roto rooter to naturally follow the separated pipeAs the plumber puts machine in reverse to pull cable out of the broken pipe the end cable lead got sheared offThere is no technical way to run cable it moves forward into pipe and then simply reverses outIt was performed by a master plumber and can assure that this is not operator errorRegardless the machine cable only snapped because her drain system is separatedIt will not drain properly with or with out the broken cable in lineThere is no way to warranty a customers broke down line as stated in original invoice handwritten by plumber (no warranty). The next step is to fix the drain systemAs stated on original invoice plumber requested *** to call the city to get them to further investigate to see if it was on there side of the systemShe later called us to explain the city did investigate with camera and saw our sheared cable in separated line. When seen by city camera it was not on there side of the system meaning she is responsible for repairOur cable in her line has no influence on the broken down line it must be repaired regardless of situationWe had to pay for the new cable end just to service further customers from her separated lineIn original invoice it is stated exactly what needs to be done we were up front about it and its on paper that her line must be repairedWe are not responsible for customers broke down line but we can most certainly fix it for a decent price$is the price for a hand dig operation with camera inspection $175.00 including taxes labor parts and permitted with inspection by the city inspector. rates are higher but we are willing to make a deal for customer we can base it off time and material so if we happen to get it done for less than quoted price then great. I do not believe that due care, and attention, was used when running the cable down into the drain and then reversing it out after an "unusual hard spot" was detected. I cannot afford $795 and already paid them $125, now their broken cable is obstructing my drain.

It is shameful that you are trying to put the blame on me. I want you to remove the cable. If you can also repair the drain at the price I can afford that would indeed be blessed. But, as a senior citizen on a fixed income, I cannot agree to have a contractor do a job without knowing the cost. I am trying to be reasonable. I was not the one who broke the cable.
