were not going to fix the side mirrors because although the marker lights did not light up, they were functional. The Diesel Particulate filter now needing to be replaced is not abnormal for the mileage. If the warning light was on while in Portage inventory, we would have replaced, and we would have increased the sale price at that time. During previous discussion with Mr. [redacted], we had agreed to split that cost with him, as it is a pricey item and we were trying to gain customer satisfaction. Recently, Mr. [redacted]'s father called and asked if we could do the repair and let him make payments on his portion. I declined, our company policy prohibits us from extending credit to service customers.For the time and trips Mr [redacted] has made back to the store, I am willing to do the following: Portage WILL replace the side mirrors as well as still offering to pay 50% of the DPF repair. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My viewpoint as a customer is that we paid over $1,200 to have our air conditioning fixed- it was not fixed, still broken, unable to use on hottest days of summer after repairs done. I will never purchase a Ford vehicle again- very low quality; nor will I seek future repairs at this facility.

this is an older van 2001 Ford Windstar and things are going to start to brake and wear down.Thank you

Review: Paid $1,272.04 on 07/13/15 to have air conditioning repaired. AC stopped working after repairs done & paid for. Hill Automotive replaced AC compressor under warranty on 08/17/15. AC stopped working again at the end of same month (08/15). Hill Automotive then offered to do further AC repairs for an additional $350 plus tax. By that time summer was almost over, and my wife and I had lost confidence in the repair being done properly; (we have has previous issues with repairs having to be done several times there). We declined their offer to do more repairs for the same problem, for more money. We would have accepted a free repair/ resolution to the problem. Wrote letter of complaint to Ford Motor Co. - they refused to help. Wrote letter of complaint to owner of Hill Automotive- no response.Desired Settlement: Now it is winter and we have paid $1.272.04 essentially for nothing. Most of the amount is still due on our credit card. We still have no air conditioning in our 2001 Ford Windstar, and will not have any come next spring. We refuse to return to Hill Automotive for any more repairs. We would like a refund. Then, if we need to have the AC repaired properly in the spring, we would have the money to take the vehicle elsewhere.
