Review: Mike Hill was provided explicit instructions to do some work on my roof. When asked if he had Insurance he avoided this question and did not answer. He was quick to collect $450.00. I asked him to return the $450.00. Mike Hill has not. I sent a Certified Letter per my Attorney’s recommendation. Mike Hill did not sign to pick up the Certified Letter. The letter was returned to the Postal Service.Desired Settlement: I have since had to hire a licensed person to rectify the problems which became more expensive. I said to Mike Hill you can either return the $450.00 or I have no other recourse than to file it with the Small Claims Court.

It is unfortunate that I did not check out the review and rating with the Revdex.com and see an Insurance License to do business Hill Construction.

Review: I contracted with Mr. Hill 5-19-14 to put on new roof. On 7-27 had leak in bedroom. Left 2 messages, covered floor. July 28 called again - took pictures. Aug. 2, came out to fix problem. Aug 9 another leak. Covered floor, used buckets. Aug. 11, came and said fixed. Aug 12 rain, covered floors which were wet, used plastic to cover wet walls, buckets, more calls. Reached 8-13, came out 8-16. 8-24 woke up to water on floor - night stand soaked, walls wet, curtains wet. Called Mr. Hill 9:30 am. More calls - no answer. 8-27 came out, put on some new shingles. Many calls re: room repair - no response.Desired Settlement: To have walls checked for mold. Either plaster or drywall on ceiling and wall. Will need to be repainted.
