When the original call came in to our dispatch, it was explained that the homeowner had two fixture light sockets out When we arrived at the call, it was actually one fixture socket out and one socket in a lamp that was out Hill Electric does not generally repair lamps, however since
*** *** has closed we have tried to help out our clients if we can We do ask that the customer bring the lamp into the shop though because there are literally hundreds of different types of sockets for lamps and our electricians only carry the most generic types on their vans Since we were at this clients home for another issue, our electrician tried his best to serve the customer's request and he took a look at the lamp He determined that he did not have the correct socket in his van, and since the customer was just a little over miles from our shop, he ran to the shop to get the part (This particular socket had to have a threaded end to attach the shade to) In retrospect the electricain probably should have brought the lamp into our shop for repair and then we could have delivered it back to the homewoner I'm not sure how much time this would have saved as another trip would have been required regardless, but the delivery could have been made by one of our drivers instaed of our electrician If Mr*** feels that our electrician took too long to complete the work, I would be happy to refund him the difference of the labor rates, but I hope it is understood that our electrican was striving to go over and above in his quest to provide excellant customer service If you need to contact me, you may reach me at ###-###-#### Thank you, *** *** *** *** * *** Hill Electric, Inc

Remex is in receipt of information from you regarding the above-referenced complaint number. Thank you for letting us know of the consumer’s concernWe have reviewed the consumer’s complaint as well as the consumer’s desired resolution. As a preliminary matter Remex is constrained to
point out that the consumer is disputing the validity of an account that was placed with Remex by its client. As such, the complaint does not allege any wrongdoing on the part of Remex. Nevertheless, the consumer should be advised that Remex has closed the referenced account and returned it to its client. Accordingly, the consumer will not have any contact with Remex in regards to this matter. intimates in her complaint that her dissatisfaction really lies with Remex’s client - and not Remex, per se - we are nevertheless sorry this consumer did not feel her interaction with Remex achieved the result that she sought. As a courtesy to this consumer we have requested that the credit reporting agencies remove any credit entry associated with this account. The consumer should be mindful of the fact that there is ordinarily a delay between the time the request for a credit report update is made by Remex and the time the credit reporting bureaus update their records. Moreover, Remex sent an itemization for the charges at issue to the consumer’s address, as she has requested. Remex is happy to discuss this matter with the consumer after she receives and reviews the itemization. inaccurate and do not give rise to any claim under the law.  Remex, Inc. was assigned this account from its client on or about April 4, 2014.  It therefore did not make any collection efforts whatsoever prior to that time, including credit reporting efforts.  Remex’s records show that credit reporting on this account did not occur until June of 2014, after Remex attempted to mail a notice to the consumer regarding this account in April of 2014, at the address provided to Remex by our client.Again, we have carefully reviewed our file on this matter and the consumer’s statements made in the complaint (and in other correspondence to our office).  Remex is confident that it has complied with all applicable state and federal laws in handling this consumer’s account, and that any claim to the contrary is without any factual or legal predicate.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, as a courtesy to this consumer credit reporting for this account has been canceled with the credit reporting bureaus.

I am rejecting this response because:I have already contacted Remex to dispite the debt and provided written proof that the creditor guaranyeed in writing that I would bear no responsibility for the lab tests if my insurer didn't cover them.  Remex continues to contact me .  Remrx represents the bankruptcy estate and as such is acting on their behalf.

We have reviewed the consumer’s most recent communications with regard to this matter.  As stated in our response to the consumer’s initial complaint, our investigation into this matter is complete.  It is our position that the complaint filed against Remex, Inc. by this consumer has no factual or legal basis.Nevertheless, as a courtesy to this consumer we requested that credit reporting related to the consumer’s account be canceled with the credit bureaus.  The consumer may inquire with those credit reporting agencies to confirm that their records related to this account have been properly adjusted.  The consumer should be mindful that there is often a delay between the time data furnishing agencies such as Remex request a cancellation or modification to a consumer’s account and the time the credit reporting agencies’ records are adjusted.  The consumer should feel free to contact our office to discuss this account further.

does not raise a complaint with regard to any conduct or actions of [redacted]   Third, both U[redacted] and Remex are constrained by applicable rules and regulations in its response to this complaint, due to the fact that this matter appears to relate an account the consumer alleges his daughter has (or had) with a medical provider.   It appears the consumer does not want any further correspondence from [redacted] because he contends that he paid the account which he contends was the subject of prior communications from [redacted].  If what the consumer contends in his complaint is true – there is no basis for any further contact from [redacted] in regards to this matter, and therefore he can be assured that there will be no further contact.

Review: for changing two light sockets initially electrician came to place, changed one socket claimed that did not have the second light socket which is standard light bulb. Came back over an hour later changed second light socket and charged 2.25 hour work service. Total time on job was 20 minutes. Distance of the shop from residence was 5-10 minutes ~3 miles.Desired Settlement: Adjusting labor for changing two simple light sockets. When I initially called them it was supposed to be travel and repair time.
