Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] you guys are the ones that put the shed up that highYou also told me that when it happened you would take care of everything even the repairs to my bike if there was anything wrong with itIf you want to fix the ramp free of charge than I will except this but none of this was my faultI drove my bike in and out of the shed several times last year without any issuesWhen you guys delivered it I was told if it needed any adjustments just to call and you guys would take care of it Regards, [redacted]

Dear *** Thank you for providing your email address. I thought it best to write you this way after our conversation the other day at your home. I wanted to take a minute to summarize things so far before I offer you a thought I've had about your
situation. The other day you called, after your motorcycle frame collided with the tread-plate on your shed. You were understandably shaken up by the experience, it having happened only moments previously. We spoke, and I assured you that we would be able to repair any damage to the building. I didn't intend to say that we would do so free of charge, but this is what you understood me to have said at that time.Because you were shaken up from the experience I suggested we talk again later. After a few text messages we agreed to meet in person at your home to discuss what had happened. At the time we made the appointment you claimed that the ramp had dropped suddenly, but had not fallen off the blocks upon which it had been placedI interpreted your meaning to be that the ramp had fallen off the blocks upon which it was resting. In any event I realized that the issue was a little different than what I had thought and that meeting face to face would likely resolve things for you the most beneficially. Also at that time I explained that our warranty covers workmanship and materials, and that our warranty does not cover impact damage.Upon arrival at your place I noticed the shed was on blocks, and that the ramp was quite steep. Before I had time to share this observation with you, you told me that you were now convinced it was a craftsmanship issue and that we would have to cover it.You pointed out that the doors hang below the floor height of the building, and made the statement that the doors had dropped down so that the ramp was no longer able to be flush with the floor.Upon inspection of the building I said that the doors are within spec, and have not moved. I said that our buildings are designed this way. The ramp is never perfectly flush with the floor (see attached photos).I further explained that the ramp is typically a little below the height of the floor, and that this is also by design, the small lip thus created not being typically an issue You did not believe me.I showed you the hinges on the doors, which are attached to the building with screws. I told you I did not see how it was physically possible that the doors had dropped to create the aforementioned lip Though I do not remember your exact words at that time, I believe you threatened Hill View Mini Barns with a lawsuit and asked me to leave.I took two pictures of the building, in order to establish what I had seen on site, and was told that I was not welcome without a lawyer, so I left. Please see the attached photos, some of which were taken at your home, and some of which were taken today at the *** sales lot - Note that the picture entitled "lip" is taken at an angle that, due to the steepness of the ramp, exaggerates the height of the building extending above the ramp. A better picture was not possible because I was asked to leave.- Note that the picture entitled "ramp" is there to show the height of the blocks upon which the building rests and the height of the ramp support - Note that the ramp is painted white. This is not something we did. For this reason alone one must conclude that however HVMB may have set the ramp upon delivery it has been moved and re positioned by someone since being installed.- Note that the other three pictures are of an 8' wide low side storage building that is, as of this writing, on the *** sales lot, and is attached to show that the door height on your building is as it has been since the shed was built. My analysis of the issue you are experiencing is as follows:1- The shed is placed on blocks, much higher off the ground than is typical. Therefore, the ramp is pitched steeply.2- Something happened between last fall, when the motorcycle went in to the shed OK and this spring when it does not do so without colliding with the lip on the treadplate.3- What that something is I can not say with certainty, but I suspect the blocks upon which the ramp is resting may have settled into the lawn upon which they were placed. 3a - Perhaps you were very close to the floor going in last fall (not hitting the treadplate is not hitting the treadplate whether one has a milimeter of clearance of two inches), but this is a guess.4- Given that the building is as it is designed to be I am left to conclude that the solution to your issue involves a longer ramp, which would lessen the angle at which the motorcycle enters the shed, effectively raising the rear wheel and the lowest point of the frame of the motorcycle relative to the front wheel as you enter the shed. We are planning to come out and bring a different ramp option so you and our service person can make a decision as to which is the best way to go for your application.

Hill View Mini Barns did as we said we would do and went back and put in a new ramp that better suited her needs. The customer said that they were satisfied with our fix and said they would call Revdex.com and let them know. We purpose to always try to do a reasonable accommodation so that things will work out for the customer As always we are thankful that we could rectify the problem and meet the customers needs
