The gentlemen reiterated he bought the chain from our shop, but couldn't produce receipt or any proof There is no way we could refund to anyone who brings in an item and claims they bought it years ago Also, we have it stated on the receipt that we will give full refund to any purchase within days, not years No jewelry shop on earth will refund for a purchase after yearsHe mentioned he wouldn't lie for a silver chain, how would we lie about selling a fake silver chain then? For $100, it is 100% not worth to risk our reputation Now we know what he means giving us a heads up when he was rushing out of our door It was a threat that we had to do what he demanded, otherwise he would leave bad feedback to Yelp and Revdex.com

The gentlemen came in yesterday to our shop and showed us a silver looking chain He said he bought the chain almost years ago and he said the chain was fake He had no receipt and he said he wanted to give us a heads up and rushed out the store We never argued with him nor we
were impolite or treated him unprofessionally After two years he just found out he had problem with the jewelry and claimed he bought it from our store Firstly, he had no receipt and we didn't know it was our merchandise Secondly, he could have came up with a fake one to replace ours Thirdly, he would have bought it somewhere else and thought it was from us Lastly, on all our sales receipt, it prints no return after day of purchase, not yearsHe was very polite and so were we during the time he was briefly in our shop yesterday I don't understand why he said we were rude to him in his complaint His story is questionable and incredulous Over the years, we had done many business deals of precious metal, if we couldn't know silver chain that was not attracted by magnet, we would have closed down a long time ago
Thanks

I've used Hillcrest Pawnbrokers several times, to process DROS transactionsDavid, in particular, has been very helpful and is quite knowledgeableI appreciate their good service and figured this would be as good a place, as any, to let that be known -- good service can be challenging to findAnd, no, I do not have any business interest in Hillcrest Pawnbrokers; i'm just a happy customer who appreciates good service from friendly proprietors, and some other reviews I've seen appear to have been made by unreasonable, unstable people

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The gentleman saying that I bought the chain in question 2 years ago is an out right lie. The chain is from that pawn shop. I have no reason to lie about a silver chain. I no longer have my receipt but if they keep their finances in order the proof would be in their records. Once again,  I have no reason to concoct a false story. I just do not like being taken for a fool when I trusted this business to sell real stuff not fake chains like the one they sold me. My mother was there the day I bought it.

The gentlemen reiterated he bought the chain from our shop, but couldn't produce receipt or any proof.  There is no way we could refund to anyone who brings in an item and claims they bought it 2 years ago.  Also, we have it stated on the receipt that we will give full refund to any purchase within 7 days, not 2 years.  No jewelry shop on earth will refund for a purchase after 2 years.
He mentioned he wouldn't lie for a silver chain, how would we lie about selling a fake silver chain then?  For $100, it is 100% not worth to risk our reputation.
Now we know what he means giving us a heads up when he was rushing out of our door.  It was a threat that we had to do what he demanded, otherwise he would leave bad feedback to Yelp and Revdex.com.

Review: I purchased a silver chain that was stamped with Italy 925 on it meaning that it is a real silver chain. It has since left a rash around my neck and you can see the discoloration on the chain reflecting silver overlay. I took the silver chain marked with the Italy 925 stamped on it back to the [redacted] broker and told him that the chain he sold me was fake. I told him that it left a rash around my neck as well as had a positive reaction to a magnet, which if real would not stick to the magnet. He said he could do nothing about it. He and his staff were very rude and unprofessional about this situation once brought to their attention.Desired Settlement: Want to get a refund
